Well, the insanity's over! My show was last night, and I took 2ND place in the teenage division and the novice lightweight-under 154 classes. I went in at 150 pounds, 3% bodyfat, and I'm 19. It was a natural show (if you've read my other posts you know my situtation!), so I was very content with my shape/conditioning. It's mass time now, though. Next summer, I want to hit the NPC, no more local contests, no more teen divisions--I WANT TO GET ON STAGE FOR THE NPC!! Now, I'm not gonna start a cycle right now. I want to wait about 3-4 months, see how the first semester back at school goes, see if I can put on a few pounds of muscle, then possibly hit the juice after X-mas. Just a few quick q's, and don't just give me some "go do more research" posts, PLEASE! I really would appreciate some advice. 1) Are there any pro-hormones that are worth there money, like Stenadiol, that would be good to use before hitting the hard stuff? I should have the pictures from my show scanned in a week or so for y'all to see, and then I'll probably ask for some insight into my physique, too. THANKS TO ALL Y'ALL WHO ADVISED ME FOR THE LAST 5-6 WEEKS OR SO, SINCERELY!! THIS BOARD IS GREAT, KEEP IT UP! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Creatine is about the only product I could give you as a recommendation and still keep a clear concience.Protein powders are obviously a sound investment but I would say that being a competitor you obviously know that.Congrats on your placings, you did a great job bro. IP: Logged |

as far as supplements creatine, and the only pro-hormone that I feel is worth trying is that one from T-mag, although there hasn't been much feedback on it yet. personally I would stay away from the prohormones, they convert mostly to estrogen, and as a result I got mild gyno from them years back. If u just came off from a show, NOW is the time to hit it hard whether it be natural or with gear. Your body is so depleated after a contest the weeks after is the time to explode with size. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Yeah, The All-Natural Physique and Power Conference (ANPPC) 2000 Texas Open Bodybuilding Championships! It was a very well-organized and fun show, regardless of the 2 2nd place trophies now sitting in my room. Were you there?? ------------------ IP: Logged |

1) No, they all pretty much suck for putting on muscle. They ARE good for increased aggression. They have all the sides without many of the benefits. 2) I haven't had any first-hand experience, but I find the marketing pretty gimmicky. And it's expensive... I wouldnt spend my money on it. Creatine, Glutamine, Protein and a multi are the only natural supps (for size) that I think work. 3) My opinion -- a deca/winny, deca/dbol or primo/dbol cycle (all w/ clomid). However, if you are a teen, I think you are too young. Congrats on your trophies! IP: Logged |

...BillyBadAss...I don't work out at Texas Gym, actually, for the summer I've been working out at the YMCA where I work (free membership, but sh*tty!) and during the school year (Texas A&M, GIG 'EM), I lift at a Gold's Gym where I work, too. The guy that won the overall, Paris, was a friggin' monster, but in clothes he looked normal--I like that. I didn't stay to see who won the overall novice division 'cause I was ticked about getting 2nd place by 1 F*CKIN' POINT in the lightweight (there was a 3-way tie going into the night show between me and 2 others!)...but now I'm content, knowing I went in better than I've ever gone in to a show before! Well, adios!
