My Doc prescribed me some HCTZ (hydrocholorothorozide) for kidney stones that I had last year. He also prescribed K-Dur (potasium supp). Is HCTZ that much of a potasium depleting diuretic?? Would I need to take the potasium supplement while taking the HCTZ.I am finishing up a bulking cycle and would like to start loosing all the water. Thanks.......... "B"

Be careful bro. You can have a heartattack from too little or too much potassium

I'm no doctor but if he prescribed both then I would say yes to whether or not it depletes Potasium, be safe and take them both!!!

after your cycle, if you take nolvadex, arimidex, or any other anti-estrogen, you should have little problem with water retention. mine goes away when i'm taking clomid

You need the Potasium supp. that is why he gave ut to you. If you look at diuretics OTC they usually have Potassium in them.

Or eat some bananas every day.

Thanks for the info so far. I will be taking the Clomid as I have done so throughout my cycle, but is it okay to take the nolvadex as well even if there are no signs of gyno???"B"
