what the hell!? I ordered a vial of b12 about 3 weeks ago to my friends place and finally got something in today. Not the package, however. He got a letter from the FDA of Baltimore District office. I believe stating that the contents of the package could not be shipped into the US under the Food and Drug and Cosmetic Act section 505(A), 801(A)(3). They state that it is an unapproved drug. They say I can contact their office if I believe that it complies with the law. Should I call telling them that it is vet. b12 for my horse of something? What should I do and why the hell was my shit flagged? It was coming in through Canada. IP: Logged |

If I am not mistaken. The FDA never has approved of a injectable b12 this is given without a perscription. I could be wrong but that might be the reason. IP: Logged |

Injectable b-12 is a vitamin not a drug, I'm pretty sure you can order it from any medical supply company w/o a script....you should definately call them up and question why they have taken it. I know for a fact that is approved by the FDA....did you order anything else w/ the shipment? IP: Logged |

Ture b-12 is not a drug but the FDA does not approve things that must be injected by a person with a doctor perscription. Whne b-12 is in pill form it is okay to purchase. Injectabe ldoes not get approval w/o a script. IP: Logged |

no, b12 was the only thing in my shipment. I just dont understand why MY package was decided on being opened. If this is the case, not recieve something as simple as b12, should I not order any AS from this source in the future? I would rather not lose a couple hundred dollars and get a visit from a cop.
