Im totally honest with my doc so he will know how to treat me.

Ask for a complete blood profile. Youll see how to read it in the Anabolic Reference Guide. Tell him your worried, because your a body-builder and eat a lot of high protein food. Your just checking to make sure your in good health since you punish yourself physically. T3 and T4 levels are usually included as part of the test. Along with cholesterol, liver values, etc. Its a good test to have done at least once a year if you juice.

excellent advice bro
my brother has actually had this done. it's a great way of finding out for your OWN knowledge if something is going wrong in your body. i know i should get it done too....i'm waiting till my workplace gives me full medical coverage...which is next month then i plan to hit the juice if everything checks out good! i can't wait!

You have two possibilities. First, you can llok in the phone book for a lab that specializes in walk in lab tests, such as "Any Lab Test" then you can just go in and pay for a thyroid profile.

If you don't have one of these, then just go to your Doc and tell him/her that you are constantly tired and fall asleep often; at work, while driving, etc. The first test they will look at will be TSH and maybe T4 and T3.

If you don't want to tell the doc the truth then say hypothyroidism runs in your family and you feel cold, tired have hairloss and your weight always fluctuates and that you want your thyroid checked

later!
