Hi there bros!

I spent a lot of time here getting advice from people before starting my first cycle.

I've just hit the 2 week mark. I'm using Deca and Primo. Pre-cycle I was 6'3" tall, about 230, and about 12% fat. (I'm 32 years old)

After 2 weeks, I haven't noticed any appreciable gain in weight (I weigh myself about 3 times per week)... The needle is sticking around the 230 mark (give or take a couple pounds). In the past 2 days, however, 2 people have told me that I 'look bigger' and am I training hard. I do feel 'tighter' (does that make sense?) and I am definitely stronger (although I don't know if it's the gear or me just getting stronger...)

My bench the week before starting was my bodyweight for 7 reps, with a little help on the last rep. (I know, I'm weak... I'm a tall guy with long limbs... long way to push it!) Last night, I did my bodyweight for 8 good reps (no help) and I felt like I could have pumped off 1 or 2 more (8 was my goal, so I stopped... I know... STUPID!)

I'm a martial artist (grappler) and I train martial arts 5 days/week and hit the gym for weight training 4 days/week. I feel real good, and it's still EARLY in the cycle!

Any comments or advice are appreciated! I couldn't have done this without all the bros here helping me out! Thanks all!

Deca and primo usually takes a while to kick in. You must also make sure that you are taking in more calories than you consume. If you are doing marshal arts all week plus lifting, you need to eat alot. Just relax and wait. The gains will come. Peace...Mav

Thanks, Mav. I'm sure you can see (with my activity level) that I need a lot of calories. When I was clean, I was eating between 4500 and 5000 cals/day. Now, I eat close to 6000.

BTW, I am currently finishing up a sust deca and dbol cycle and although everyone else tells me I look bigger, I just don't see it. I guess it is probably just your mind playing tricks on you. If everyone else says you look bigger, you probably are a little bigger. Good Luck on the cycle. Peace...Mav

Just one more thing... I actually LOST weight. I don't know how that can be!

Wednesday evening, I weighed myself at 232. I went to the gym Thursday evening and then to a friends place. His girlfriend always cooks a TON of food. I ate four (yes, FOUR!) 10 oz tri-tips, a big plate of maguro (tuna), eggplant with black bean sauce and broccoli. Then she brought out hamburgers which I ate about 3 of (they were small, about 4 oz each)

I ROLLED out of there. Then Friday evening I weighed myself (rest of my foot intake has been normal...) and I was 227! Man, oh man. Free reign to keep eating!

Dirk,

Surpisingly, I had a smaller than normal dump the next morning (I usually drop a big one about 10am every morning... I know... Too much information...)

Chef, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Iceman, I wouldn't worry to much. My buddy is on the same cycle you are and he didn't gain anything for 4 weeks. He was all pissed off and now he is growing like a weed!

Good Luck

Step 1. THROW AWAY THE SCALE. Scales are for the morbidly overweight, morons visiting the Jenny Creg center, or for those not in the know.
Step 2. Gauge your progress visually, the same way a sculpter gauges his own marble designed work.
Step 3. Your cycle lacks one fundamental necessary ingredient. The anbsence of testosterone in a cycle can be likened to the absence of ice cream in pie Alamode. Sure its doable, but not quite the same.
