In a discussion the other day the topic came up of : do dogs at the airport sniff for anabolics. They could probably smell them if they were trained to (especially if they had been already punctured once for use) - but are they trained to? I had a friend who was a police canine officer - her dog once sniffed out a packet of cocaine that was hidden in a gas tank, completely submerged under the gasoline. Its just a question of are they trained to?

I tried the search engine but the new one does not work well for me. I typed in my question and got posts about liposuction.

I was dumb enough to fly into Montreal with Clenbuterol in my backpack. While waiting in line for customs, an official and his dog were walking through the lines. To make a long story short, the dog liked me. I was pulled to the side, questioned, thoroughly searched, had my bags thoroughly searched, and the only thing they found on me was the clen. But, I was allowed to keep it, since the amount was barely enough for personal use.

Now, clen in chemical structure is quite similar to the amphetamine family of drugs. Therefore, it could have had the "odor" of something like meth. But then again, the dog may have just liked me...

Steroids on the other hand are not structually similar to any of the illicit "drugs of abuse". I don't believe dogs are training for sniffing out steriods, but I could be wrong. If anyone knows first-hand about canines in customs, I'd like to read about it.

I've got some first hand experience. I was a dumbass and tried to bring some shit back across the border. Anyways, I'm quoting from the report here, "the K-9 dog hit on the back seat of the taxi which you were a passenger in." Me and a buddy had some Sus250 strapped to our thighs. But I don't think the dogs can smell that stuff. I don't know. I think that the pharmacy tipped those fuckers off and they were waiting for us, and the only reason they put that K-9 shit in the report is because they didnt want to say that the pharmacy told em we were coming back across. Damn fuckers. But I don't know if dogs can smell AS.

I was wondering why don't people mail back the goods to a couple of diffrent addys in the US. They can't search every package coming from Mexico, or can they?
