Optimum Nutrition works good for me. Everyone that I have suggested it to loves it as well. It mixes very easily. The chocolate is the best tasting by itself, but you can make some good smoothies with strawberry. mmmmmm IP: Logged |

I just bought designer for the first time yesterday beacuse it was on sale . This shit is fucking horrible, i have the chocolate btw. I can['t believe I wasted 23 dollars on it. OPtimum's pro complex tastes really good, esp. the chocolate. ------------------ IP: Logged |

have you guys noticed how different flavors have different consistencies? (i.e. chocolate is very sticky). also, vanilla gives me much more gas than other flavors. i wonder why.. IP: Logged |

I've stopped having any grasp on whether or not any protein actually tastes good -- all of them have their own individual funk... I just stomach them all. In my book, Designer is probably the best mixing protein out there. (just pour in, shake and it dissolves) And I do think it is one of the higher-quality proteins available. IP: Logged |

Lee Labrada's Pro-V 60 for just protein (and a few carbs), and Cytodyne's Cytoplex MRP's are both good tasting and not that expensive. From the looks of all these posts, I think it's obvious it's simply personal preference--everything tastes different, mixes different, and costs a different price--but they're all so close, they all seem to run together! ------------------ IP: Logged |

I got you all beat. For those watching carb intake it's gotta be zero carb Isopure. I tak 2 scoops (50g protein, 200 calories, 0 fat) Mix it with a cup of skim milkand it's the best. If you want more add some Edy's no sugar added ice cream and some frozen or fresh fruit, you got the healthiest vanilla smoothie! ------------------ IP: Logged |

I use SCI-FIT. It comes in a 5lb container for $24. 114 calories, 20grams protein, 4 carbs, 4 sugar per serving. It mixes extremely well and doesn't taste that bad either. They have some wild flavors to choose from. IP: Logged |

hey who cares about taste if the numbers are wrong. I have had a few test done on different protiens and found that most are Not up to par. I do use Interactive for me its the best and least expensive. And yes it taste fine and mixes well in a shaker and water. I dont work for this company so I dont care if you try it or not but its web is www.healthproinc.com ------------------ IP: Logged |

You guys need to understand the difference between an MRP (Meal Replacement Powder) and straight protein powder. MRPs have carbs, vitamins, etc. as where protein powders generally do not. This is why MRPs generally taste OK and protein powders generally taste...well, like shit. EAS Myoplex and Nature's Best Perfect Rx are in my opinion the best tasting MRPs on the market...Add a little protein powder and you have a low carb-high protein meal replacement. IP: Logged |

I use the 100% Whey from Optimum. It's cheap, but my opinion is that any whey protein is going to be just as good or better than protein from solid food, especially when consumed in the large quantities that we use. IP: Logged |

The new Designer Protein with ZMA taste horrible. Myoplex is pretty good, but it gets too thick even in water. I personally like Vanilla Grow by Biotest, not too thick and it has a very good taste. IP: Logged |

Is that the problem, they added this zma shit? I was so shocked at how shitty it tasted after hearing how good it was for the longest time. Figures I buy the new shit and it tastes like ass ------------------ IP: Logged |

Protein powder- CYTOPRO by cytodyne technologies. Mixes instantly, no blender. I use two MRP's - Musclemeals by Muscle-link. and Pro-Mr by Dorian Yates. I also use Lee Labrada's KWIK SIZE for a post work-out drink. IP: Logged |

Isopure mixes in a heart beat, the peanut butter tastes like shit...the rest is great. I just started using EAS MASS...so far it ranks up there with the best. BPP IP: Logged |

For protein powders, Isopure mixes very well but the choc tastes like crap and do noy go near the peanut butter. Cytopro mixes well and the choc tastes tons better. IP: Logged |
