I've seen article saying "Never eat below 1500 (something like that) no matter what weight you are, you can't get enough nutrients from that much".. What is too low? Is there such a thing?

I am presently on a diet, I weigh 155, 5'5", 10%BF . I've been on it for 4 days now, heres what I've had today 1000cals, 110g protein. Is this too low? Or is there no such thing?

Why on earth would you want to lose weight? Are you involved in a sport with weight classes?

Yes, your calories are too low.

Based on a formula from a trainer at my gym:

you have 139.5lbs of lean body wt.

LBWx11=1534.5

This means that YOU burn 1534.5 cal/day resting. Not doing anything. So if you take in 1500 cal/day and excercise, you should definately drop some weight.

Bro, that is way too low. Your body is going to have to burn it's muscle along with fat for energy just so you can stay alive and have a functioning brain everyday. Why would you want to loose weight at 155?

I feal fat at 155, I'm only 5'5" so its not that light. I feal really soft, and I can't see my abs like I used to, and I have gained about 10 pounds this summer, and I assume a few are from fat.
I am trying to eat a ton of protein to combat the losing muscle deal, also I heard that taking ECA helps and of course working out does too. I wish I had some primo or winstrol to take to make sure I keep the musle on, oh well... thanks..
