Deca is one of the best things to use. Celebrex is good for the problems, so is Flax Oil, and Glucousimne (sp)

I'd also consider deep-tissue massage (most gyms have a contact for this).

ART (active release technique) therapy is great for tendonitis if you can find a practicioner near you. It's could also be covered by your insurance plan (my plan covered it 90 percent). You can call 719-473-7000 to find out if anybody is close to you.

Stretch it as often as possible too.

Glucosamine sulfate is great. Go 2000 - 3000 mgs/day spread over 2 doses. It takes a month to get on board, but is worth it. The Spring Valley brand at Wal-Mart is good and cheap ($10). You can also try Glucosamine stacked with Chondritin Sulfate (also available at Wal-Mart), it's supposed to have a synergystic effect, but doesn't have any hard data to support it like glucosamine does -- it's adds a little to the cost though.

Hope this helps -- good luck.

I said that it happened at work. They sent me to a doctor who gave me Vioxx. I also go to physical therapy 3 times a week for 6 weeks. All paid for by the company.
It's worth a shot and besides the vacation is nice..

Ihave had bad tendonitis for two years since I tore my rotator cuff real bad. PT never made much of a difference, massage worked ok,then I tried Vioxx and got a TENS unit(transcutaneous electrical neuromuscular stimulation). I stretch a little and warmup real good before hitting the weights and I stretch my chest and shoulders after each workout. Since I've done this I have regained
14 lbs of the 30 I lost after i got hurt.Manana....
