I used it almost three years ago for a 5 month course...the acne was pretty persistent and widespread...improved slowly during and significantly afterward. Now its practically non-existent with just the occasional pimple on the face or chest. Very significant improvement. Sides while on were extremely dry skin/chapped lips and very susceptible to cuts on hands/fingers(weakens skin) Overall, Ive had very positive experience with it. None of the other things worked for me (tetracycline, retin-a, etc etc)but the accutane did the trick, just keep in mind that all drugs have varied effects on different people. IP: Logged |

Accutane worked wonders for me. I use to have tons of acne on my face, but after 5 months it disappeared. I'll get one or two every now and then but I just laugh at them because compared to what I had before it's nothing. Your skin dries out big time, you are going to need chap stick ALOT. IP: Logged |

Hated it. Won't fix all acne...Used it for three months and could'nt take the side effects. Chap stick!! I was using a prescribed lip lotion and it still would'nt help. I was so dry, felt sick, could'nt stand it....one night I was weaving becasue I could'nt really see the road. I think it sucks. Not worth it. A lot of other stuff that I would rather use. Retin-A worked well....need to stay out of the sun however. IP: Logged |
