Before the flamers come out... ... ... . I usually hold it tightly in my hand and flick the top above the neck. thers are a few ways, personally i file the neck lightly then i put a small piece of scotch tape around the neck and snap it. the tape helps in the event it shatters, it keeps it all together. i also read someone uses a pen cap, i also tried that and think it was brilliant. good luck... ------------------ IP: Logged |

you could also just rotate the amp so that all the liquid falls down to the base, then with a piece of cloth break it open. When u get ready to pull liquid out of the amp make sure the needle is straight and not at the bottom with all the liquid, b/c you might draw up liquid + glass from the breaking of the amp. To break a ampul properly, the ampul neck is cleansed with a alcohol swab and, leaving the swab in place, the ampul is grasp with one hand on the each side of the neck, between the thumb and index finger. A quick, firm, snapping motion is then exerted away from oneself, as if breaking a pencil. To withdrawl medication from an ampul, the ampul should be tilted and the bevel of the needle in the corner space near the opening. Surface tension should keep the solution from spilling out of the ampul. Then syringe plunger is then pulled back to withdrawl the solution. The possibility that glass or paint chips may fall into the solution when an ampul is broken requires the use of a filter in the prep, process. Usually, the medication is withdrawn from the ampul with a regular needle and then the needle is changed to a filtered needle before pushing drug out of the syringe. This may be more than you wanted, but any time you inject foreign substances into the bloodstream you should be aware of proper precautions. The filter is probably be overkill since most steroid soln. vary from 100mg to 200mg+ per mL. Since some of you guys are having trouble getting syringes I guess filters are out of question. Just use a file and file all around. I have an eight inch triangle file. It's big as shit but it does the job. Sometimes I file so much that I break the top off in the process. I hold it in my hand with the top of the ampule sticking out. Then I push on the top and it just pops off. I't like breaking a pencil. Like the previous post said.

I actually asked almost the same question about a month ago...I usually don't have problems but I was opening an amp of winstrol and it shattered, cut open my hand and waisted all the juice....someone posted a good idea....hold the base of the amp with a sock or cloth....take a bic pen cap, place it over the top of the amp and crack...that's what I've been doing ever since. Just one thing...you do not have to file away on the neck like crazy to open amps, you only need to score the neck - this will weaken the structural integrity of the amp enough to snap off easily. IP: Logged |

I agree with matr1x on this one... I just score the amp in one spot and snap the top off. If there is a dot on the amp, it is usually scored already underneath the dot. My Omna amps are like that.... "B" IP: Logged |

I score the neck with a file and it usually breaks clean. One time i did not score and the top of the amp broke apart. I place a pen cap over the top of the amp after I have scored it with a file and push,.. pop... It's open. Suck it up and shoot it. ghans IP: Logged |

If your amp's have a colloured dot above the neck they'll usually be score just beneat the dot. Snap the amp from the oposite side of the dot, and breaking awy from the dot. Bouncer ------------------ IP: Logged |
