Bump I'm interested in the whole carbs thing. I get 300grams of protien a day but have been cutting back on carbs. I think I probably should get more calories. IP: Logged |

I made the mistake early on in my current cycle of keeping the carb count low. I had just come off a low-carb diet that produced some very good results and was a bit hesitant to up the carbs again, I was so used to eating clean foods with low carbs. But after a few weeks I wasn't getting the results I had hoped, so I started eating tons of rice, pinto and kidney beans, etc and the mass has really started to pack on. For some people it's hard to realize that you most likely are going to add a bit of fat along with the muscle in a bulking cycle, especially if you just finished cutting BF. A few weeks of cutting after a mass-cycle should strip that fat right off. IP: Logged |

hey I would eat carbs on a bulking diet up to about three hours before bed, during bulking eatpasta and other high carb foods with your protein...you carbs will add up fast and you'll grow better...the fat will come off easy afterward...if you wanna bulk, then buk, you'll get the best results if you make up your mind and go 100% aat it... I cut up at 200grams carbs 250grams protein, and 40g fat...I can lose 15 lbs in a month from this...when I bulk I eat 300g protein 400g carbs and 50g fat...it works well for me hope this helps...
