I am about to imform my source that I sent the money. Who should I tell him to send it to? I'm afraid to use my real name, but I dont' want the mail man not delivering it to my house if he doesn't recognize the name.
Any help

Are you sure that the mailman even looks at the name? Most just make sure that they deliver it to the right address. Use a fake name and the right address and you should have no problem.

Depends on where you live. I live in a Walk up and my mailman willnot leave anything unless they know you live there....But the general rule is never use your real name and NEVER sign for anything...

keep asking around.....

You could try sending it to "resident". Ask the source if they have ever shipped this way and if it works alright. You could also use your real name but "accidentally" misspell it a little. With it not being spelled right, you might have a better chance of convincing the cops that it is not yours. This may not work but I think I have heard some people say they do this. Peace...Mav

I would not use your real name if at all possible. I've never had problems with the mail delivering a different name, How would the post office know whether or not you have a live in guest or say a new roommate. They will drop it off if its to your address.

If your mailman won't deliver a package to a pseudonym, use your name and real address. In 95% of the cases (depending on your local post office), they will. Get some balls.

And if you receive a package from overseas within a reasonably short timeframe, and for some reason are asked to sign for the package...sign for the damned thing. This is not typical, but it's not extraordinary either. And enjoy your cycle and get big.

This name/signature thing has, in my opinion, been blown way, way out of proportion and fueled by those very few isolated cases when individual users have gotten stung by the cops -- and by one or two lawyers. You'd have better odds winning the grand prize of the state lottery than getting burned. Again, in my opinion.

I agree with Dexter.

Just use your real name. Unless you are expecting a kilo of coka, then relax.

If you are asked to sign because it is registered, then sign for it. You also might have to sign if the postman missed you at home and left a note to go pick it up at the PO.

The only reason not to sign would be if they asked at your front door (and you know it is not registered). This would be in the case of a domestic or a foreign source that said that he did not send it registered.

I either use my name or work out a deal with one of my friends. They let me use their P.O. Box, and I get them shit for half of what other people are charging. That way if anyone trys to rat on me, we're all going down. Peace...Mav

I have a kind of funny last name, real long. You know, I get stuff addressed to all kinds of variants on my name, and I mean ALL KINDS. Mailman knows this, and delivers anyway. Yet, if I had to deny that anything addressed that way was really meant for me, I sure could!

Think about it.

Yeah, Ive been kinda wondering about just using real name and address. I just got some stuff delivered and had to sign for it at the post office. Unfortunately, I used a fake name and real addy. When I went to pick it up, they wanted photo ID. I got screwed, case closed. Cant pick up my stuff. Left me with a bad case of roid rage big time!!! (even though I didnt get my roids )

Well I do not have what it takes to put my real name for any order. I do usa the same fake name on all my orders so the postal person get use to delivering it. So far, no problems with it. I chose to use a fake name incase I have to ever deny that an order is mine. I figure that if my real name is on it than I am as good as busted if it ever got seized. Go with whatever you are comfortable with doing. For me it is a fake name.

I have always used my real name and addy with no problems. I would never sign for anything though. I don't think it is worth the risk. If you have a good source that knows how to ship, there should be no problems at all.

I use my real name on ALL packages!!! Even ones sent from foreign sources. My mailman sometimes won't leave something without the right name on it. Don't ask me why, I have no clue. I usually buy in large quantities and have always used my real name. I would never sign for anything but, I do think that is blown way out of proportion!! Plus I live with roomates and if some package came with some fake name they may decide to open it and that would be bad. They are really against drugs or steroids and that would just be a bad scene. Have some balls!! Use your real name.

I am waiting for my order right now. It is coming from a foreign place. Got part of it the other day. Problem was, I had it sent to a fake name and the post man left me a slip to pick it up at the post office. When I went there, they asked for my ID and said I had to sign for it. Well, felt screwed and did alot of fast talking. Told the counter girl that I sometimes get mail from companies who get my name wrong. Well she said that she couldn't release it to me cause my name wasn't on the package, that maybe it belonged to someone who lived in the house before me. I told her that was impossible cause the house had been in my family for forty years. She told me that I would have to talk to the post master. Course now I am sweating. I go into his office and he asks if I knew anyone in that country and I said no but I do have pen pals from that country. I explained to him that I didn't know if the package was for me until I opened it, but the name was similar and the address was exact and that I periodically got mail from people who got my name wrong. He made me sign for it. Well, no sheriffs have knocked down my door yet so I figure I am okay. Wish now that I had used my real name, cause I might have to repeat this scenario for each package that comes.

When it comes right down to it, you should be familiar with your area and act accordingly.

peace.

for all you people not sure of whether your mailman will deliver to your house under a fake name, why don't you just buy some cheap ass vitamin shit from the net and send it to your fake name to see if the mailman will leave it there? DAMN!

I had the same problem that BBman had only my packages were sent off to lost mail and destroyed. So I always use my real name. And foreverblast, just because a package gets through once doesn't mean that next time the post office won't notice and not deliver the package. I had 4 packages sent under the same false name to my P.O. box and only one of them got through and the rest didn't because the name didn't match. DAMN! Peace...Mav

I think you should have a talk with your mailman then, hehe, and ask him why he can't just keep one eye shut about the whole ordeal...
