Your board is looking real good. But what is up with all the unorganized freakin traffic? It's claustraphobic in here. How about making some more categories and asign one mod to each forum? You could divide forums into weight classes, experience, sports athletes, bodybuilding competition, etc. Something needs to be done IMO... Thanks for listening and I don't mean to be disrespectful. Just trying to do my best to make a place I love function improved. Peace. IP: Logged |

I've seen and created from scratch quite a few boards that were far more functionally operative in my time. I suggest you two look around and check more out. See, it's so over crowded here, the mods and the owner can't even respond to me. You two have no idea how much better it could be. I like the idea and the general direction the board is headed in, but it needs a lot of work. It's hard to find a good bodybuilding board these days that wasn't set up for the purpose of scamming others. This one is set up to make some money on the side, but I really think the owner is with a good purpose in mind to the bodybuilding community. Most of the more mature vets/pros have their own private sort of message board communities set up by now. This board is 80% beginners and under 21 age. I'm just trying to do what I can to help out something I love. IP: Logged |

Hugo, thanks for the input, but as you can see, we already have several different boards with different categories. The problem is that we have thousands of members here, as opposed to other boards who only have hundreds. Also, I have seen and posted on about 20-30 different boards this past year and in my opinion this is the best one, that's why I agreed to be a moderator here, as opposed to the offers I had at other boards. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I agree with you, Cuban. I looked around for months at the various other boards looking for an overall sense of civility, moderation, and common sense. After deciding that this board was far away the best place to be, I lurked for a few months just to get a better feel for how the members were in the long run. I may be a new member, but I'm not a novice lifter. I really couldn't figure out why this thread was started, then read his second post, and it was clear. George and you mods, keep up the good work. We sincerely appreciate it. IP: Logged |

HughMoFo - I have a suggestion for you. With all your experience creating and posting on boards, why don't you start your own board and design it exactly the way YOU want it. We can check it out and if it's any good maybe hang around awhile. IP: Logged |

I as well have to say that this is one of the best boards out there. There are problems here but far fewer than other boards. The Mods keep things going pretty good. As previously mentioned, if you can come up with the "perfect board" than by all means do so and let us comment on it when you have it up and running. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Vitaman (edited August 05, 2000).] IP: Logged |

Is it just me or did anyone else get a feeling from his second post that he may of been trying to get more buisness for his over boards by trashing this one and saying he had other better boards he created. Also saying this board was over crowded , I think being crowded is essential to keep a board going , it is the boards that only get 10 posts a day that die off. IP: Logged |
