In about an hour I will be placing the money gram order to send to a source. Will they ask me for ID or can I use a fake name/address. then e-mail the source with real info. If anyone has tips on doing this I would apprexciate it. I'm kinda nervous it feels like i'm doing my first shot again.

I am familiar with western union. Under a grand don't need id's or cities or anything just a test question and answer and of course the WU#. There is paper trail but its not linked to anyones name or anyones city. All they have knowledge of is $500 or so leaving one place and going to another place. No names, no reasons to be suspicious it happend thousands of time a day in any given city.

I'm not sure about a money gram, Western Union you don't have to provide an ID unless it's over a certain amount (can't remember what amount is though $1000 or $5000 I think)

WU also has a Web site that you can track when the money was picked up.

As long as it's not a large sum of money, you don't need ID. I used a fake name, just remember to sign your fake name. It's easy to forget and just sign your real name.

One more question to any one who's done this let's say I'm sending about $400 to a location in let's say Thialand. How much would the transfer charge be.

Doesn't matter where you send it.

It's based on the dollar amount you are sending. $15 is the min. charge. Call your local location and ask. Might have it on their Web site too.

about $40 I think, the web site for western union will tell you.

Lethal, for $400 dollars it will be about $35 to send it and I do know the source that your are going to is good, so I wouldn't worry too much. I used a false name and e-mailed the source the shipping address. OH and save that reciept! Peace...Mav

That western union website sucks, unless they have changed it in the last couple weeks, it reminds me of wordstar on MSDOS v 6.0 or something.

I am not sure about the charges but I assume you know that Thailand is a bitch of a place to recieve it from, I think like 80% if not more of the AS coming out of there get snagged, that place is hot for sure.

Be carefull bro, don't want anyone to lose money.

Oh and they will probably ask you if it is to a person or a company. Just say it is to an individual person. In case they start asking questions as to what it is for, have a story rehersed so that you don't sound suspicious. OK, maybe that last one is overkill, but I don't believe you can be too careful. no id needed for orders under $1000. if you ever need to send $1000 and are worried about it, send two $500 orders. costs a bit more but you'll feel safe.

WU knows why 80% of the people that use their service come to them. they don't make it too easy to track you down. just know learn some of the tricks.

What a relief.
It was kinda like when I used to go get beer when I was like 17 and your nervous before you go in but once you get there the guy behind the counter just small talks you a little and you walk out with your case. But now the case will make me look like superman not just feel like him.
