Granted, if i eat like a horse i'll gain more. But what if i just want to maintain my bodyfat while adding nothing but lean muscle mass to my physique. What i'm getting at is a cycle that produces zero gains in bodyfat and noticeable gains in size and strength.
Has anyone done this?

Its possible, but will take a lot more time. I keep my bodyfat below 9%. I took test. and it was hard to stay lean. But for the future, i plan on taking a lot of winny,EQ,Primo, and doing cardio to stay lean. A lot as to do with your diet too.

I think this is an interesting dillemma.

I have had many discussions with heavy AAS using friends about this topic. I too am in agreement that it is better to slowly and gradually gain muscle over time with minimal fat gain it at all.

Also for side effect purposes why not just use higher dosages of non aromitizing stuff and other anabolics.

It is a tough call and is up to the individual for sure. I have found this strategy to work best for me.

IMO, with two to three quality cycles like this per year, it is possible to put on 10-15 pounds without any concommittal fat gain.

In a perfect world that would be my choice as well. I too dislike the fat/bloated look. There is a very very fine line on doing it though. My way is to find the amount of A.S. to raise my metabolism enough to equal my caloric intake. Sounds weird but it is true. The last cycle I was on, I actually lost bf while maintaining bodyweight and strength. It was actually frustrating at first, then I realized what was happening.
Conclusion drawn---I actually lost fat while gaining muscle.

get big or get out

Billy, try recording everything you eat every day. Or planning out what you have to eat everyday. This way you will know exactly what amount of calories your body needs to sustain your weight or to grow. Keep the protein high and adjust your carb and fat intake gradually if you are not growing or getting too fat. The key is to know what you need to eat everyday-and then to make yourself eat exactly that, no less no more. much easier said than done though...

Bro,
Its one of those things that we dont want to get all fat round our guts and dont want those love handles. Build mass and keep lean bit hard i think you will gain a little but of body fat but you can keep this down i would use Deca, EQ, Winny, Primo and Paralobin (If you can get it..!)

But it also comes down to how much and what you eat...!

I am getting the same way. I am going to be staying away from Test, AD-50 and D-bol. And am going to do nothin but Deca, Winny, and Halo. I am gettin older now so now i can acturally keep the weight i gain. Before i would loose it all cause my metabolism was so fast now i am 29 and it is slowing down!!!

it really depends on what kind of cycle!

i realy dont care about staying lean when i am on cycle i try to drop BF as low as possible before i start so when i add that bulk i dont look so bad...i really am a firm believer in perfect planning to get maximum gains. i have all the gear for my current cycle for the past month and still havent started yet. i am trying to drop BF so when i start i wont care...fUCK being lean...

I know how you guys feel. I have worked very hard to reach my leanest state yet, (around 7%), but I feel the need for more muscle!!! Quite a delima (sp). For my next bulking cycle I'm going to try a short 2-week cycle, hopefully this way fat gain will be minimized due to the shorter time in a high calorie state. I'm also going to use metformin to increase my insulin sensitivity to keep my body from transporting glucose into my fat cells. I'll tell you how it goes for me. By the way test, dbol, ect don't make you fat as alluded to in earlier posts it's just water retention.

Hey Billy: The reason that I and several others said that you are not eating enough is because of the type of cycle you are on. For those that didn't see it I copied and pasted it here. Quote"it's 750 for eight weeks, 500 for two. it's been 15days and i've gained twelve pounds, i'm trying to stay lean,
only eating like 3000-3500 calories a day. when am i going to fell
stronger is what i want to know?". Now I'm sorry if you don't agree but for a cycle like this you NEED TO EAT ALOT. Come on bro, don't you think that you are putting your body under alot of stress by taking 750 mg sust per week. I mean, when most people say they are going to do a heavy cycle, they eat like horses and if they do it right they can still maintain a consistent BF%. If anyone remembers differently then correct me if I am wrong but didn't SSman eat almost 8000 calories a day and still maintained a 15%BF level. Like I said, correct me if I am wrong there but I believe it stayed almost the same as before the cycle. Dude, all I am saying is that if you are not going to go at it 110% to get the most out of that cycle, then don't do such a heavy cycle. That is a waste of juice to take that much and not get the most out of it. You would be better of with deca and primo if you are going to only eat 3000 calories a day. I'm sorry but I just feel that is putting too much stress on your body since you could have so much potential there that is wasted. But hey, this is just my opinion. If you disagree, then do whatever you want. I was just trying to keep you from wasting gear unnecessarily. Most people have to take in close to 3000 calories a day just to maintain their weight, much less gain any. If you are trying to bulk with roids your minimum calories should be 1000 more than this(4000 total). But this is just my opinion. Peace...Mav

the only way to gain muscle and lose b.f is if youre a complete novice to weight training
other wise forget it.if youve done a couple of years of serious training you can forget it.the body cant lose and gain at the same time.if you want to increase mass, you should do a bulking cycle,if you want to keep fat to a minimum,i suggest before you bulk you get your bf% real low than proceed to do short bulking cycles of 2 weeks to a month,
.than you can begin getting ripped again, this way you shouldnt stray too far from a decent bf.

I think it's possible, but NOT AT ALL worth the time and effort. It's just so much easier to put muscle on when you are in a calorie surplus and not a deficit.

The best way to do this is (if you aren't dieting for a show) in cycles, even if they are 4-6 weeks "bulking" and 4-6 weeks "cutting" so that you never get too fat, but you can still gain muscle easily.

AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

i'm so tired of hearing this, i don't want to get fat while i bulk! do you honestly think if you put on 20lbs on a cycle that all of that is muscle?? look at professional BB in the offseason they look like a bunch of fat asses, do you think they like looking like that. its the only way to go. sure you can put on solid lean mass, but i guarantee it will take alot lot longer.
if there was a solid and effective way to put on lean body mass all year round, don't you think everyone one would be on it...
i personally don't like it when i get fat but its the only way unless your a beginner!!

This is exactly what I am doing on my current cycle. I have gained about 6 pounds while losing bodyfat and getting huge strength gains. I am taking D-bol, Sust, Eq. I am almost finished with those then I will hit the Winny for 6 weeks at 50mg/day.

I am very happy with my results so far. Guys in the gym tell me that I look huge. My first cycle I did Deca and gained about 20lb but looked like shit cause most of it was fat. I am more happy this way. I think I am gonna up my calories a little though cause I wanna add a couple more pounds and I only have 2 weeks left of Sust and Eq.

Peace
