I read on this board that gyno operations in canada are free, or atlest covered by the medical plans. Is this true?

Hey, you are right, i just had it done. It's free under medical and the doc. i had said it was from steriods but still it was covered by medical unlike in the US.

I believe you have to become an Canadian citizen not 100% sure but I believe so, a buddy of mine knows this doctor that he goes to and can get anything he wants done all he has to say is it hurts. he is getting his gyno removed in a few months, all free of charge.

Depending on your medical plan and insurance coverage, it is 100% covered in the US also. All you have to do is go to the doctor tell them that it is causing problems, and they will give you a referal to go to a specialist. It doesn't matter what caused it. Your family doctor isn't the none that is goign to be removing it. If you go directly to a specialist and your insurance plan calls for a referal it will not cover it.
