Well, did they take blood or urine? If it is a blood, and they are looking for steroids, they will find them all no matter what it is. Not to flame you, but what did you think they would look for on a steroid test? ------------------ "Pain is weakness leaving the body>>>" IP: Logged |

Yes general employment drug sreenings do not test for the gear... 1) too costly 2) even more costly to confirm results... ------------------ IP: Logged |

If it was a drug test for a job then they probably won't test for roids. If it is a test specifically for roids then they can obviously tell if you are on wnything, no matter what it is. Peace...Mav IP: Logged |

Depends on the agency and the purpose. Usually the first thing that is checked is the testosterone/epitestosterone ratio and the major hormones. If one or more of those are out of whack, then more specific tests will be performed. IP: Logged |

Hey they have to specifically test you for them and then at that I think they would probably first look at your testosterone level, But I am not positive ------------------ IP: Logged |

I may be wrong but I thought what they are looking at is the ratio of Testosterone to Epi- Testosterone, not a specific drug. Since normal Testosterone levels vary from individual to individual I doubt they look at total Testosterone either. IP: Logged |

I just found out a few days ago that the only time that a company will test for steroids is when someone causes serious damage that results in large loss of property, life, or major bodily harm. Then an investigative team comes in and they test for EVERYTHING. So let this be a heads up to everyone on the board who works a potentially hazardous job. IP: Logged |
