It says somewhere in the contract that they will notify the authorities if you get a suspicious looking package. ------------------ IP: Logged |

As long as your source uses discreet packaging, I don't know why you'd run into any problems. Packages are much, much more likely to be flagged by the USPS than they will be by Mail Boxes Etc. IP: Logged |

anything to mail box ect or companies like this from overseas will be considered suspicious...your home addy with a fake name is the best way to go,,but following the rules IP: Logged |

I disagree with the comment about packages being more likely to be flagged when using USPS. When you use MBE, you package has already cleared USPS (that's how it gets there in the first place), now it goes through a second round of scrutiny by the MBE employees. That's two layers of inspection instead of one. Explain to me how that is better. IP: Logged |

Yep, I think that mailbox idea sounds pretty bad after reading about it. IP: Logged |

I'd certainly think that the scrutiny with which the USPS inspects a package is much tougher than what it would receive from the local MBE's clerk that's making $7/hr. I didn't say it was better, obviously you want the package to be passed through as few steps as possible. But I'd think a package has a much better chance of making it through MBE's inspection than it would making it through the USPS (and US customs for overseas packages). A suspicious looking package most likely isn't even going to get to the level where MBE would flag it. The clause in the contract is there for legal purposes so that they are legally able to turn their customers' mail over for evidence. It doesn't mean that they closely inspect every package that comes into the building. IP: Logged |

no I think its a good idea. I dont know about internationally, but if its domestic they are going to give a shit if it made it through the USPS. Of course it says that in their contract, thats just to warn off any dobadders. Just dont act like a suspicious freak in there. They are open 24hrs a day so go there when no employees work there to pick up your package. Unless the shit is leaking dbol tabs dont worry. I agree with Animal though, if you can have it sent to your house do it as long as they aren't huge quantities. Slopain IP: Logged |

It has to go through USPS to even get to MBE, that's my point. USPS delivers the package to MBE. So USPS is going to see it anyway. See? Aside from that, post-office workers are handling tons more volume than MBE employees, they don't have time to dink around with mail, they just jam it where it's supposed to go and move on. Don't worry about mbe. These people get paid near minimum wage to stuff mail in your mail box. They have no clue you can "order" AS unless they are gym rats, nor do they give a shit. They too are americans who are probably fed up with the governments involvement in personal lives. For all they know it's a chocolate bunny from grandma. And for all we know joe, who just prior to recieving your package, stepped out back to smoke a hooter. IP: Logged |

Im using Mailboxes Ect. for my needles and syringes. My medical supply house uses UPS for delivery, and USPS wont accept it. I guess Mailboxes Ect sign for packages for you. I just dont want to have them come to my house. I have a p.o. box also, which I use for the other stuff... Im not really worried about it, though. As long as the package looks good, they shouldnt have a reason to check it. And as far as "names" go, I use just my initials when I dont want to give my name. Then they cant return it for not having my name on the package... IP: Logged |

i used to work for USPS. MBE uses the USPS services to deliver mail. i know because i used to pick up mail from MBE everyday and bring it back to our plant and then it is in the USPS system... to include inspections if necessary. I hate to ask this stupid question but what exactly do you guys consider "suspicious looking packages"? Its not like your source is gonna package it in flashy neon paper with the words "Fragile- contains glass ampules" "Handle with care" written all over it! I would venture to say that all packages would be prepared discreetly so as NOT to arise any undue suspicion. IP: Logged |
