This has got to be a fucking joke. I haven't lived at this address for more than 3 weeks and my address gets flagged over 100 ephedrine. I received a box with green customs tape and a shitty photocopied note telling me that something has been seized. Since I only ordered caffeine and ephedrine (from our canadian on-line friends) I can only assume they confiscated the ephedrine. They took it a chicago. fuck. I know someone mentioned calling customes to get yohimbine back, could I do the same thing with ephedrine? Why would they confiscate something (Ephedrine HCL) that I can buy at Village Pantry about 3 blocks from my house. Puc ------------------ IP: Logged |

Did they say it was ephidrine they took? if not they may have thought it way something else if it was not in the original box/bottle. If it was suspicious they might take it anyway. IP: Logged |

Oh, and if you're worried about your address being flagged, just get a PO box. I paid $22 or $24 (can't remember which) for 6 mos on mine (USPS). You can change those as often as you need. IP: Logged |

I've been hearing too much lately about photocopied customs letters....that's kinda wierd that they would take a product that is completely legal....I would call customs if I were you and if it was them I would bitch them out...hopefully it's not your source that is trying to scam you. IP: Logged |

You're thinking of pseudoephedrine, which can be used to make meth. Ephedrine probably can be too (I'm not sure). I had this thought too, but he said it's only a 100 tabs -- not nearly enough to warrant that type of suspicion. Shouldn't be a problem to pick it up. IP: Logged |

ephedrine is the number one precursor to methamphetamine production...look at the molecules sometime, the only difference is the hydroxy group on the alpha carbon off the benzene ring...except the benzene ring acts as an electron sink and makes the hydroxy group really sticky, rendering most protonation then hydration reactions useless...unless you try platinum black refluxed in perchloric acid...but i digress...its really hard to buy ephedrine in bulk now, but im surprised they jacked you for 100 pills.... ------------------ IP: Logged |

Ephedrine is illegal in the US if it doesn't contain the required amount of guaifenesin. I've heard of several people that have been snagged while ordering from that canadian supplier. IP: Logged |

you can get straight Ephedrine in the US ( no additives) but you can only get 350 tabs at a time and have to send copies of 2 forms of ID. IP: Logged |

this dea, customs shit is out of control, this is getting to be BS, what are you a threat, like you are gonna cook some meth off a hundred ephedrine, you know this world needs to wake up and just decriminalize drugs and the people who use them, first off if your a junkie they want to just throw you in a cell to rot so you can just start your habit up in prison, people who use might need help but the system dont see it that way they see you as a criminal, when you really need help all you get is fines and time, whats it going to be like in 10 years, this whole drug issue is starting to become a rotten hole in americas side, they need to just legalize and give a process that ables users to treat themselves without hurting anyone or getting hurt, and the DEA and US Customs can eat a fat dick, I would be hot over this, it will never end.
