Guys, i'm 235lbs and am hearing I need about 2-2.5grams of protein per body lb when using gear. How the hell is this possible, i'm having a hard enough time with 240 taking Opt Nutrition shakes throughout the day. Do I have to mix a gallon of whole milk with like 1lb of whey and drink it throughout the day along with my regular eating? Please share some advice guys i want to make sure i get enough protein for my next cycle. IP: Logged |

I don't think you really need that much protein...1.5grams per lbs seems more reasonable to me...if your trying to mass it I would just up your carb intake... IP: Logged |

Firstly, use 3-4 protein shakes a day with whole milk. I would get bulk protein from Proteion Factory. Also 5 cans of Tuna a day. Always eat wheat bread and learn to buy whole chickens in bulk and boil one in a pot with 4 glasses of water. Eat all of the meat.

2Thick, 3-4 protein shakes a day of how many grams of protein per shake? like my opt shakes are about 22 per scoop. so i try and do 2-3 scoops per shake 4 times a day. IP: Logged |

I am calculating about 33g or protein per shake. That is about 130g of protein from the shakes per day. There is another 100 from the Tuna. The rest should come from your 7 meals per day. ------------------ http://2thick.elitefitness.com IP: Logged |

From what I've read it seems that for a bodybuilder only 1 gram of protine per pound of bodyweight, or 1.5 gramms for Hardgainers. ie: 200lb bodybuilder needs 200 grams of protine. IP: Logged |

i dont understand what the problem is with high protein..i mean im dieting right now and its really fucking hard to keep my protein at 1-1.5g/lb...if im not careful ill have 400-500g of protein easy..can't wait to bulk..shooting for 700g this time IP: Logged |
