After going quite sometime without it, I have just recently started listening to music quietly during sleep again. I have noticed that I am waking up much more easily and with alot more energy. I honestly feel more rested with fewer hours of sleep and completely invigorated with the same amount. Does music or sound trigger more melatonin or GH in the body or something? Is there actually something to this or am I full of shit? IP: Logged |

i'm finding I have to listen to music to ge tto sleep now. i can't fall asleep to the TV cause it keeps me awake by constantly looking over to see what's going on, and I remember when i was at college for a month I had no TV and my computer hadn't arrived and going to sleep listening to nothing drove me crazy, waking up 5-6 times a night for no reason. Now I just throw on the braveheart soundtrack and fall asleep. IP: Logged |

Ah yes, Grasshopper, but in order to master this discipline you must become one with the music. Don't be content to just listen to the music, but internalize it. Listen with too much intensity and you lose the delicate harmonies; listen too passively and you lose the meaning. To hear without listening is to listen through the soul, Grasshopper. Ask yourself, what is the sound of music to one who is deaf? This ends our lesson for today. IP: Logged |
