![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a Diamond shape w/ olimpic bar ends on it...used for squats and deadlifts. Just wondering...the guy who invented it was my neighbor for 12 years. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is the only thing I use for deadlifts. It reduces the pressure on your lower back and allows for more concentration on your legs and upper back. My olympic weighlifting coach showed it to me years ago. It is used a lot by olympic style lifters. ------------------ http://2thick.elitefitness.com IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My high school gym had one, and back in the day I used to use it for deadlifts. I wish my gym had one now. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You can't use it for squats as such, but it is used as a squat alternative, as it engages the legs in the movement in a unique way, different to the regular deadlift.I use the trap bar after squats, to really exhaust my legs. The sqaut bar forces you to use better form, and is a more comfortable movement, although equally as taxing as the regular bar version.
