![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok, call me BPP MD. I decided not to get my blood checked for diabetes, thanks for the advice anyway. I've discovered several things that throw me into that strange feeling. #1 within 15 minutes of using Isopure, I get the fuzy feelings. #2 within the same 15 minutes of eating any fresh bread, homemade bread machine bread is much worse ! Other than these traceable things, I always feel fine. So, since I am only a lowly MD, any chemists out there know what bread and Isopure might have in common ? Yeast maybe ? BPP IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Homemade or not- bread (white more so than wheat) raises your blood sugar faster than any other nutrient or food. In fact if you are familiar with the glycemic index, it is based upon white bread with a value being 100. Isopure, since it is sooo concentrated in whey protein isolates micro processed, it is possible that it may invade you cells and be digested rapidly thus producing a quick insulin response. There are some foods that do that to me and the best advice I have is just avoid them. There are plenty of other foods and supplements. Our bodies can develop tolerances to certain food and chemical compounds. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() But would a candy bar not react sooner ? I tried (first one in years)...had no reaction. Sugar, juice..etc and I'm still fine. BPP IP: Logged |
