Do you think a bench shirt impairs your chest and delt (tricep too I guess) development? Or do those who own them feel they are just like knee wraps? Because with the injuries I've had, I absolutely will not squat anything over 155 without wraps. I think they help with lifting heavy weights, but I don't think they have held back development in any way. So what about a bench shirt? I want to bench much heavier.

To answer your question no I don't.

No flame bro but ease up on the topics a bit, I counted like 4 or 5 in the top 10 posts here. Like I said not trying to get on your case...

Guess I'm just a little anxious. I've been away from the board for about 3 days, and I'm busting at the seems to get some questions answered.

Brutis..post all you want. Make them intellegent.

As for the shirt. Blast shirts will add to your bench, they should only be used for a max lift in a comp or something. Check out this site, might give you some more info. If you get one read carefully on how to size them.

it shouldnt effect your gains , there for doing singles almost exclusively . The overall effect is more one of confidence in eccentric range of motion and power off the bottom after the pause.
