I went to the doctors today for a checkup. As the nurse took my vitals, she says "you should meet my daughter, you look like you take care of yourself, she likes that". These are the same people that talk shit about AS, they think everyone on juice is a psycho or something. Then one of the questions on the paperwork was "have you ever taken anabolic steroids?" When the doctor read it he asked what I was on, and said he has a brother that juices. All he really said is that it's a risk factor, was completely cool with it. My BP and pulse were slightly high, but everything else looked great. I expected a completely different reaction out of him, but just told me "you probably don't want to do this a lot more times". Funny how some doctors are so educated on this but others act like you're gonna die tomorrow. --------------- Bossman IP: Logged |

Yeah , my doctor is a complete dick, if I get a hangnail it is because of steroids. You know what, foolish on my part, but i stopped going to the doctor because of his bullshit. I gotta get a new doc ------------------ IP: Logged |

Damn, my doc chewed my ass for creatine. I don't think I would tell a doc unless I really had some problems, you never know how they and the insurance company could bend you over in the future. IP: Logged |

Bossman sounds like you have a cool doctor. I have had the same doctor for 15 years now but I still am not sure how he would react if I disclosed my steroid usage to him. Something tells me I might get the "bad for you lecture" so I have avoided mentioning it to him. Be glad you can discuss this openly with your doctor. ------------------ IP: Logged |
