 Nolva needed if have Arimidex?

I used some prohormones and got minor gyno. I've been using clomid and nolvadex, and I got arimidex perscribed today. Should I continue taking the other two? If arimidex shuts down almost all estrogen production, then there won't be any floating around to bind to the recptors, right? IP: Logged |

Arimidex is extremely powerful. It has the ability to take out 90% + of the enzyme responsible for converting test into estrogen. Clomid and Nolvadex are "blockers". They bind to the estrogen receptor not allowing any actual estrogen to bind and activate the receptor. If you have arimidex you definetely won't need to use both clomid and nolvadex, but arimidex and clomid complement each other very well (as does arimidex and nolvadex) since one prevents the formation of estogen (arimidex) and the other prevents any estrogen that might be present from locking on to the receptor (clomid and nolvadex). It really depend how heavy a test cycle you are going to use. I know arimidex is quite expensive so you might choose to use half a pill everyday (or Monday through Friday) and clomid EOD during the cycle. I think this is a very potent anti-estrogen plan. Some will state (Bill Roberts) that for about a gram a week of testosterone you should use 1mg of arimidex daily, while others (Palumbo) state that half a dose every other day is sufficient! I figure halg a tab (1/2 mg/day) is a happy medium in-between. If there is any conversion (there will be... nothing in this world is 100% effective) there will be the ever trustworthy clomid (or nolvadex) present to block any possible effects. Between clomid and nolvadex you should probably choose clomid since anecdotal evidence points to nolvadex minimizing the gains you might experience. By the way, what was the price of the arimidex? thanks for the info, buddy. I got the arimidex perscribed because I have already developed a small amount of gyno. The best price I've seen is 28*1 for $250 or 2 boxes for 400 IP: Logged |
