I'm about to start my first ever cycle consisting of Dbol (Reforvit), Sustanon, Clomid and Nolvadex. My question is this: Has anyone used clomid throughout an entire cycle similar to this? Did it minimize the dbol gains at all? Any other considerations? The cycle is as follows: DBOL: 3 weeks, 35mg/day, drop to 20 mg/day for 1 additional week (4 weeks total) IP: Logged |

Don't take Nolva unless you really need it. It will impair your gains. I take clomid every day or every other day during my cycle and for three weeks post cycle. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I suggest the clomid from the 6th week out and wait till you really need the nolvadex. Som people dont need it esp on such a low cycle! IP: Logged |

Good answer ajc1977. You also might want to dose 4X your regular maintanence on your first day to keep levels steady throughout right from the begining. For example on day 1 you might use 400mg (some would say 300mg) then continue at 50mg every day or EOD. What I'd like to know is how much more effective every day is to EOD and to come to that conclusion I'need to know clomid's half life. Anyone out there know what clomid's half life is? IP: Logged |

50 mgs. Clomid eod throughout cycle every day for 4 weeks after cycle. And I agree... don't take Nolvadex unless you have to. IP: Logged |

I would skip the nolvadex unless u need it, add some deca and stretch the cycle to 8 weeks, keep the dbol for the first 4 weeks. Also, I dont think you need the clomid until after the cycle. A week after your last shot, take 100mg per day for a week, then 50mg per day for 2 more weeks IP: Logged |

Thanks guys... but I really don't want to eliminate the nolvadex. 10mg/day is a low dosage, and maybe it will minimize the gains a bit, but I'm more concerned with supressing the effects of estrogen. My question is about clomid... who has first hand knowledge of using it throughout an entire cycle? Every day vs. every other day, the entire cycle vs. the end of the cycle. I'd really like to hear the explanations of why, not just a recommendation. Thanks again for your help. IP: Logged |

If you insist on more than clomid, get some proviron and don't use the nolva. IP: Logged |

I am currenlty using nolvadex/proviron/clomid eod throughout my cycle. My gains have not been hindered and even with taking it my nips have gotten sensitive. Of course I am doing 1250mg of sust a week, but still, I think better safe than sorry, if you wait till you need it, it may be too late. Extend your cycle to at least 8 weeks. IP: Logged |

What is it about nolvadex that makes everyone say "Don't use it unless you really need to." And who "really needs" to? IP: Logged |

Nolvadex has antiestrogens which block estrogren receptors, which is also what your AS is targeting. ------------------ Work With Your Back And With Your Brain IP: Logged |

It does target the estrogen receptors, but the steroids don't specifically target these. When they are converted to estrogen then they adhere to these sites, which could promote gyno. The anti-estrogens serve to try and minimize/eliminate this effect. So, I say better safe than sorry. In my personal opinion what gains you may lose from using it during your cycle (if any) is worth the peace of mind and security of knowing that you will never wake up needing to borrow your girlfriends bra.
