Is it possible to overload on creatin?

Hello everybody out there, not been on the board for a while, so a quick question for you all regarding creatin.

I take it in the morning with food then before and after training. I take between 3-4 5g servings per day. It is working well so I want to keep taking it. just wondered if I was doing myself more damage than good.
If I stoped taking it would I loose my gains, The purpose of consuming the creatin is for strength.

Is any one taking propeptide from the Dorian Yates group of suppliments. If yes let me know what you think of it. I am taking it now and it seem s to be a good protein suppliment. No farting like thunder with this one.

Talk to you soon.

Personally I think creatine is pure junk

20 grams a day is not too much just make sure to drink lots and lots of water

Why would you stop taking it? I don't think the body builds a tolerance for it...

And why do people take creatine before workouts? It seems to me like it will just be burned as fuel that way, instead of being stored inside the muscle. It makes more sense to take it after the workout when the muscles will soak it up...

Creatine is JUNK??? You have no idea what the hell you are talking about bro. Granted it's not as powerful as gear, but its benefits have been proven scientifically in numerous studies. As far as overloading, any excess you take will be excreted in your urine, so no, you cannot overload. If you don't mind the pissing money away, this is the best way to give your body the absolute most creatine it can hold. I like to cycle it every 6 weeks. I am convinced your body becomes accustomed to anything over time, including supplementation, gear, exercise routines, etc., so I cycle it 6 weeks on 2 weeks off. Just a suggestion. I have had decent results with creatine alone, and I am going to begin my first cycle using creatine with winny, primo and sust.

I am all for throwing in creatine in an off cycle.

Besides it does help. And out of all the crappy supplements out there it gives you the most bang for the buck.

So, if you are into throwing in a supp that works, granted there will be alot of water, but the more water you drink the less you hold.

And you will as stated above piss out anyextra you body doesn't need. But, the medical fact is that your body stores it also. I went for a blood test from the doc and when we got the results back, he told me my creatine level was very high. I then told him I was taking the supplement and he told me the scoop about storage and that my levels were not high since I was supplementing.

Also, I do not believe that your body will get used to it because your body naturally uses and needs it. It will just let you piss out what you don't need.

Creatine gives you more strength. You can do more reps or take some more weight and do the same reps. Your body gets used to it. So 6 weeks on, then some weeks off. It is bad for the kidneys and lets you retain some water. Most people think they have gained pur muscle. If you want muscle then take roids.

But you haold water inside the muscle cells, which causes them to be stronger, fuller, and more explosive.

Yeah, but when you stop with the Creatine, you loose the water and the so-called gaines.
