I still have 1 bottle left of the old dymetridne 25 (the pure stuff) I see that they have added gueftesin (sp)to the new stuff which is either a cough suppressant or expectorant..I forget. Anyway does this effect the charge I always got from ephedrine? I know they added gueftesin (sp) to make it harder for those dumbasses who make methamphetine. Also what brand of ephedrine do you guys consider to be the best now?? Or should I say cheapest..more bang for the buck. I've looked at Xenidrine but that shit is expensive. I think I paid like 7 bucks for a bottle of 100 of the old Dymetridine 25. Thanks for any replies bro's And try to overlook my spelling. :-) IP: Logged |

Yeah, I got a bottle of the new kind. I belive it is called ephidrine plus, Anyway it has 25mg of ephidrine and 200mg of that other stuff. It works well. I payed about $7 for 60 tabs IP: Logged |

Gueftesin ( shit, that doesn't look right ) is an expectorant. All it does is thin out your mucus. The purpose behind that was to make it look more like a "legitmate" OTC drug for asthmatics. It doesn't do anything strange to you: if anything will make it easier for you to breathe. Morning spits are never the same after taking that shit. I like the Kaizen shit because it's cheap. Ephedrine is ephedrine, and you'll be hard pressed to find some that doesn't contain the afformentioned expectorant. Oh and by the way, my brother is a peice of shit crank addict / cooker and the added ingredient never stops him from cooking crank with eph tabs. He loves the shit. IP: Logged |

I just checked out Discount nutrition and also AST (makers of Dymetridine) and all they have is this Dymetridine extreme. $21 bucks I think for 100 tabs....thats expensive. Where did you get the cheaper stuff??? IP: Logged |

Depending on the laws in your state, Guaifenesin is sometimes necessary to add to Ephedrine HCl. It actually has an opposite effect as it is a narcotic cough suppressant. Therefore, people who take the drug will not get, or get very little of, the stimulant effect that ephedrine is notorious for. If this is the only version of Ephedrine you can purchase OTC, I'd look into one of the herbal makes with Ma Huang, such as Hydroxycuts, Xenedrine, Synedrex, etc. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Try Netrition, or even call up Kaizen directly. I did it about a year and half ago, before they had out all these new products that make them think they're somebody. I got them for $8 per bottle if I bought two. Then shipping was $2. IP: Logged |

DXM is a narcotic cough suppresant, while guaifenesin is an expectorant. IP: Logged |

If you check your PDR, you'll find that Guaifenesin is a narcotic cough suppressant. I'm not trying to argue, but I didn't pull that information out of my ass. The most important effect of Guaifenesin is that it suppresses the stimulant aspect of Ephedrine. You simply won't get nearly as "wired" on Ephedrine with Guaifenesin. I am familiar with Dextromethorphan (Federally controlled substance, schedule V) as a narcotic, but you're not going to find that in combinations with Ephedrine generally. ------------------ [This message has been edited by GymRatSD (edited July 31, 2000).] IP: Logged |

Something must have changed, because back when it was just good old Dymetridine 25 without the extra garbage mixed with it those things really kicked. Now the Sci-Fit and Kaizen ephedrine mixed with the inhibiter in it doesn't give even close to the same feel. I'm sure my tolerance over the years has something to do with it but even when I stay off for awhile it is not the same. I still always use an aspirin with a caff pill and a ephedrine tab instead of the pre made eca stuff. I did try MD6 once and that stuff was dog crap, I could take handfulls of those and fall asleep. cockdesl is correct here. DM is not a narcotic though. It is a nonnarcotic anitussive. It is also not scheduled. Guaifenesen on the other hand is only an expectorant and a not very good one at that. Water is actually better. It is added to Ephedrine now in order to make synthesis of Elicit drugs (Meth) more difficult. In no way does it suppress the stimulatory effects of Ephendrine. IP: Logged |
