My mother is taking synthoid ( I could be spelling this wrong) for a thyroid promblem and has a life long prescription. What is it? and Is it any good? Would have used the search,but you know!! IP: Logged |

Synthoid is a LT-4 synthetic thyroid med. Closely related to T-3 but uses diffrent horomones. I have nevered used it or know people that have. IP: Logged |

T4 needs to be converted into T3 by the body to be utilised whereas T3 is the readly available form and it is faster acting. U can use T4 for fat loss, can use it for a longer period and higher dosages without the worry of shutting your Thyroid function down but the effects are not as fast and good as T3. But safer. thyroid if taken with as can make the as 30% more potent, due to the fact it metabolizes macronutrients faster, which means, faster growth or faster fat loss, depends what it is stacked with and individuals goals IP: Logged |
