![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Work those rotators twice a week. I know this is not a chest routine but it will help you chest routine and possibly save your shoulders. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Check your training split. If you're doing shoulders close to your chest day, that may be a problem. The greater the incline the more anterior delts are used, if their already fatigued, then you're not getting your full potential. Just a thought though. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have an idea on this one: You complain about your shoulders and you mention that you're doing well on flat dumbell presses. When I do those, I tend to feel my shoulders binding and they are sore deep in the joint the next. Yes, I've changed positions and had it checked out by a seasoned vet. I'm not built to handle flat dumbelss, but incline I can press 'em like a champ. Stange, but it's what I deal with. If you ease back on the d-bells and put chest before shoulders it should help you a little. Also, make sure you have at least 3 days in between the two workouts if you can. Are you doing a ton of sets? What do you do before barbell bench? Do you warm up adequately? IP: Logged |
