Personally, a ketogenic diet works wonders. No matter what else you do you should give this a chance if you haven't tried it before. If you go heavy on the fat ratio and maybe eat 80% of your cloric maintence needs you can lose a good 15 to 20 lbs (of fat... this diet has incredible muscle sparing properties) in a little over a month

Personally, I think shedding fat is very easy compared to building muscle. A lot of people probably disagree, but for me... forcing myself to eat is alot more difficult than eating sparingly. Lots of cardio, a well maintained diet, and maybe an ECA stack will work very well naturally. If youre determined to use drugs, clen is usually what people choose to help them keep their strength and muscle while they are dieting, but I don't think its really necessary unless you're competing, etc.

now here is something i'm an expert on.
3 years ago i was very overwieght. i took things like chromium (for appetite con.) and lots of thermodrene, ripped fuel, ultimate orange; pretty much anything that keeps your heart rate up. i would cardio my brains out w/ various aerobic excercises for toning. my diet was very restricted--numerous small meals per day(all low fat).
the thing that made the biggest differance was doing the cardio on thermogenic products (it just makes sense--if your whole system is racing, your gonna burn fat). my way wasn't healthy, but i got results-dropped 88lbs in one year--became special forces--started pumping iron and getting huge.just staying dedicated and consistant is your biggest tool--it sounds like your friend already has that. he just needs a little extra help.

well i was 240 pounds in march 1999 and went on a low carb diet and lost 75 pounds in 7 months. I noticed that i put on some good muscle size while on that diet because i was taking in large amounts of protein daily. i rarely did cardio either.

If you want to see results ASAP, I'd do the ketogenic diet (no carbs/sugars), while taking a thermogenic supplement combination like Adipokinetics and Lipokinetics, and doing cardio twice daily, 6 days a week. Do like 20 minutes, after your last meal of the day. Do not eat anything after this. Then, when you wake up, take your supplements, and before you eat breakfast, do 30 minutes of cardio. Follow this, and your friend should drop weight in no time.
