Still patiently doing research to put together my first cycle. Am thinking about springing for arimidex (assuming I can find it). My plan is to use clomid in the usual amounts (50 mg eod throughout cycle, two weeks of 100 mg ed when AS clear system, two weeks of 50 mg ed after that). So, if I use arimidex throughout the cycle, do I not need to use clomid? Is there any advantage to using them at the same time? My rough guess is that I should use them both, with the clomid there to keep the nads pumping and the arimidex to fight gyno and other effects of estrogen. But I'd like to get the opinions of some more knowledgeable bros, mods. Golias IP: Logged |

If your going to be doing extremely large dosages of test...2000mg's per week or more...yup Armidex is the shit....small to average dosages...clomid EOD throughout cycle, and post cycle is good...just keep the Armidex on hand in case gyno rears it's ugly head...no sense in using both....unless you are extremely gyno prone....Peace!! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Clomid raises your endogenous testosterone and is a mild antiestrogen. Arimidex is one of the strongest antiestrogens known. To answer your question, it depends on why you are using the clomid. If you are using the clomid as an anti-E, then arimidex alone will work. If you are taking clomid to keep your balls intact, then clomid will work better(arimidex will not raise your test). ------------------ IP: Logged |

I have had a great deal of expereince with arimidex, I disagree that it won't raise T levels. At a very small dose(1/4 mg EOD) I firmly beleive T levels will be elavated moderately. Duchaine also beleived the same. I would use arimidex at the aforementioned dose and clomid EOD during any test cycle. This will cover all your bases. IP: Logged |
