ok it seems like a dumb question but just outta curiousity i was wondering since a high calorie intake is necessary while on a cycle would goin out and drinking say a 12 pack be good or no?

First of all, besides getting a gut you will be putting unessesary strain on your liver.
Try to be as focused as you can, avoiding anything that will hinder your muscle-building gains.

no! you already knew the answer to that, your suppose to go on a high calorie diet but they are suppose to be quality calories. your not suppose to eat six fast food meal and say i've eaten 6000 calories to help me grow. besides, alcohol will hinder your gains...

I just don't see how occasional and moderate alcohol use would hinder your gains. True that they are useless calories and would only make you get fatter and put more strain on your liver, but as long as you are eating right and only have a few drinks once a week, I don't understand how it would hinder gains. Help gains: definitely not. But hinder them: ??? Any studies to back this up. I know a lot of people say this but I have never seen any actual proof.
