![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hope that someone can help me. I have been squating hard for about 4 years now and I love it and deadlifting for 2. For me nothing else puts on mass like these two exercises. Last year though for some stupid fucking test for our team we had to leg press to get a max, the only problem is this is an old machine and you start at the bottom, all compressed and then you have to extend. While when I got in, I was so compressed that my ass was a little curved off the pad, so that the first part of the lift was to flatten my hips, not extend my legs, and in doing so I felt something go in my right glute. Ever since I have had a hell of time squating and deadlifting. I get a sharp pain right in the middle of my right glute. It feels like it is pretty deep and slightly to the upper part. It's most prominent any time hip extension is involved. If any one can provide any direction I would be forever gratefull. Thanks bros ------------------ [This message has been edited by rocko (edited July 29, 2000).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sounds like you may have gotten yourself a nice little muscle strain from the "stupid test." I would try to limit any stress that you put on it directly. You can try alternatives to squats and deads or see if doing partial reps for a little while allows you to do this. If you don't take the stress off of it, it will have a helluva time recovering (especially naturally). ------------------ IP: Logged |
