OK guys, need some help on this topic... NOLVADEX: PROVIRON: conclusion... - if you take NOLVADEX... the nolavedx binds to the receptors, stopping the estrogen to bind to the receptors... preventing gyno. now, if you stop to take the nolvadex after your cycle... isn't it possible to have a rebound effect - still having a high estrogen level and the receptors are free again 'cause you don't take the nolvadex anymore... leeding to gyno?! - if you take proviron... the receptors will be blocked and also the AS will be stoppped from aromatizing... preventing gyno in 2 ways. now, if you stop to take the proviron you won't have a rebound effect 'cause the aromatization of the AS was stoppped and not only the receptors were blocked... so the estrogen level is already low... no gyno. OK, finally my question (sorry to make it so long...): why do most of the guys take NOLVADEX and not PROVIRON? Thanks for answers... ------------------ IP: Logged |

every cycle i do ,i always use proviron from the beginning till the end (doses around 50-100mg a day)...it makes me look very hard and i don't think it interferes to much with the gains i'm making of the other products... still using the proviron, i get sore nipples when i'm using high mg's of test or dianabol and that's when it's time for my nolvadex a few pills for a few days and the soreness is over ,and mostly it stays a way for a few weeks! after a cycle i've never had any problems with gyno IP: Logged |

well to prevent gyno on my cycle i use proviron every day and clomid EoD. i do this because clomid also keeps my natural test up, and proviron doesnt lower igf-1, gives the body a hard appearence, and lets your gear do its job better because it bonds to the sex receptors freeing up other gear to work on the muscles. however i will be using nolvadex at the end of my cycle, because estrogen seems to hit me hard then, and with nolv. there is increased fat breakdown, and ill be using with clen, clomid, and continue proviron at the end of the 2nd week of nolv. at 100mg. The main problem with proviron is that it occupies your androgen receptors and thus (anecdotally) cuts down on your gains. I have never used Proviron nor do I know many who have. If you are taking alot of juice you probably aren't going to notice the "decrease in effectiveness" that people will talk about. Also Proviron is much harder to obtain than Nolvadex. If you have, or are susceptable to gyno think about Arimidex-albeit expensive it is by far the most powerful drug of its kind (that BB's can use) out there. Only downside is that its about $6-$10 per pill. BUT- I had read that Dave Palumbo was quoted as stating that doses as low as 1/2 tab or less taken every other day were very,effective. So far I dont know of anyone who has taken it yet. ------------------ IP: Logged |

proviron always, first hand expierences..never used nolva... proviron will not cut into your gains, nolva will, and you will risk a rebound effect with nolva IP: Logged |

Animal I personally never have used either. Never had the need for it. I will say that Proviron is "supposed" to cut down on gains.So many "experts" and so many theories/opinions. On the other hand it is common knowledge that Nolvadex will as well. It comes down to several factors, one being cost-, the second being availability. Its easier to order 60-90 nolvas and customs lets 'em thru. Now with Proviron they will get snagged if they are opened. ------------------ IP: Logged |
