If you start taking AS when you are 17, is there a good chance that you have permanately stunted your growth? Is there anyway to reverse this process? Does GH work to lenghten bones if your epiphesal(spelling) plates have not closed? How can this be determined? Any info related to this might help. POST!

If you're 17 years old and have used steroids, you WILL NEVER grow again. By now, your bones are rock solid, and you are stuck where you're at.

Pulling your leg. I wouldn't worry about it too much. You probably already have use roids, so if you stick with it, it will stunt your growth. I doubt one cycle will keep you from growing, hell, it might even help you. I wouldnt worry about all the media bullcrap, they take things way out sometimes.

I would imagine that it would take at least moderate to considerable AS use to stunt your growth. Afterall, some of the biggest growth spurts one will experience (aside from infancy) is during puberty and that is also when natural testosterone levels are peaking. Once there is closure of the epiphyseal (AS may induce this...) plates though there is no room for the bone to elongate and allow for growth. I also imagine that GH will indeed cause growth probably bringing you to a mark closer to your genetic potential than you otherwise may have reached. Hope this helps.

At 17 most people have already reached their maximum height....or maybe that was just me.

Once your epipysial plates have closed there is NOTHING that will reverse it. That means no added growth.

The way I always understood it was that AS itself does not cause closure of the plates but rather the damage that is incurred to the plates due to rapid and unnatural increases in strength. Apparently the only way you will stunt your growth is if you are a teenager who can squat or deadlift 500+ where high stress loads may occur. This does not totally make sense to me from a logic point of view because I would think that running would be just as stressful to the plates. But apparently that is not the case.

Thanks... what is a good dosage for GH. What AS would be good in conjunction with it... bother with insulin? Also want to know about care and handling of GH before and after reconstitution. And expiration dates (Jun 1999 still o.k.?) I know this is a lot of info to request but search is down. I want to find a good wedsite, please email me with info. Thanks again.
