This may sound crazy but, the only food that helps me grow is junk food. I can eat all the chicken, tuna, rice, and pasta, drink lots of protein drinks and healthy stuff and not grow. But when I add in some Big Macs and whoppers and fries I can put on weight and stay pretty lean. Anyone else have to eat like this to make gains? I figure I have a fast metabolism and need the empty cals to prevent burning muscle. Don't get me wrong I love eating the junk food but I know it can't be to good for me in the long run.

I have a pretty fast metabolism also. I can eat about anything and not get fat. I consider it a blessing!

Totally agree with eating the junk food, for me, it is so much easier to get the calories in, and u enjoy what u eat, fuck that dry chicken breast crap, and making you own food, and having to clean up, I don't have time for that, I eat mcdonalds 3 times a day. and they guys ask me how I stay so lean...its because I train like a madman, and the gram of test a week also helps out.

Man I agree with you!! I try to eat as many things that I should be but alot of times I just don't want to eat the chicken or whatever. I hae a fast metab. so i donot worry about the fat in foods. Only thing I make sure I take is my juice!!!!

when bulking I don't worry about the fat..I still manage to stay somewhat lean, never too fat, I think fast food has it's place in a bulking cycle..I try and stick with wendy's though...

this stuff is making you grow due to it's fat content, remember that fat is an anabolic and that cholesterol is necessary for the production of testosterone, just don't do it all the time or you'll clog your arteries

What do yo mean by "gain"??? You mean gaining FAT??!!! That's about all you gain from Junkfood!!! You might have more weight and look larger because you are fatter. YOu have to eat alot of calories and alot of protein. I realize that eating like 3000 to 4000 calories a day is difficult. Infact eating that many clean calories is almost impossible but, gaining fat and gaining muscle are two completely different things. Just take a shake a day. One of those calorie shakes(if on a bulking cycle) You can get ones that have like 2000 calories. The rest can then be clean calories. Big Macs will not help you. They are shitty proteins and loaded with fat. Unless you are on growth, stick with clean calories.

I also gain with shit food. I burn fat like a motherfuck. Especially with this pgf2a I'm taking.
But if I eat the 2 whoppers for $2 deal every day... I notice I gain better. I drink my protein shakes... shit, I even add peanut butter to 'em for extra calories...
But I get a lot of calories with Wendy's, Pizza Hut, and Burger King. And don't add too much fat. I figure I'll take advantage of it while my metabolism is still fast, because one day I won't be able to.
So I'm livin' it up today!!
