I drank a gallon of skim a day on my cycle. Helped me out with my protein intake. My BF is too high so I drank skim. My roommate I was cycling with was drinking a gallon of whole milk a day because he has a retarded fast metabolism and is hard for him to gain weight. Hope this helps, Green IP: Logged |

It all depends on you. If you are trying to add weight use whole or even 2% for xtra cals and fat. If leaning or maintaining 1% or skim. It has the same amount of protein but less fat and cals. IP: Logged |

milk causes alot of allergic type reactions, contains proteins that are not normally found in the human diet, our bodies will attack these forign protiens, then produce histamines...if your a custom to it drink it..for me, I leave it for the baby cows,where it is ment to be...now a good steak...we are talking IP: Logged |

I drink a hell of alot of milk. I usually drink whole with a smaller meal to add calories, and 1%-skim for large meals to just add in the protein. IP: Logged |

Humans are the only one's that do a lot of shit. Like cooking their food. Why don't we start doing everything that animals don't do like not cooking meat. That's the biggest crock of horse shit. Don't drink milk if your alergic to it or don't like it. Don't not drink it cause animals don't. You have to remember that we are smart and animals are not. Here's something to consider: If you don't like it, don't put it in your mouth! The basic mechanics of growth require some pretty simple things. Food, work, and adaptive response. Anything more than that and you're overthinking the whole process. If half of the people who concentrated so much on diet and what supplements make that extra .05% difference put that same amount of concentration into making their workouts more intense than there would be a lot more big dudes at the gym. I'm not downplaying diet at all. I know as much as the next guy what kind of a difference changes in your diet make, but all I'm getting at is that people fail to see the balance required for things to happen. If all you worry about is what food / supplements to take and don't focus on that hour you're in the gym, then you're wasting a good chunk of your time. There's my rant.
