I use GNC weight gainer 2200. I usually don't take in more than 800 calories a day with it. It has a decent amino acid profile, plus some carbs and of course the calories. Its pretty pricey, but for 45 bucks you can get a month or two supply. I have a serving of that plus 2 or 3 servings of PROTEIN powder. I've fallen in love with protein powder, it tastes awesome and Im getting my 150g+ of protein VERY easily. Im proud of myself. Its awesome when you drink a little weight in the morning... gives you enough energy for the rest of the day. Great on work out days.

WHY NOT BUY A GOOD PROTEIN POWDER AND ADD IN YOUR CARBS. IN THE FORM OF MALTODEXDRIN.
MIX IN SOME FRUIT AND A COUPLE GLASSES OF SKIM MILK AND YOU HAVE ONE KICK-ASS SHAKE.
IF YOU FIND IT REALLY HARD TO GAIN WEIGHT THROW SOME ICE-CREAM INTO THE MIX.
THE SHAKE YOU JUST MADE WILL BE A HELL OF A LOT BETTER THAN THOSE MEGA-SUGAR SHAKES YOU WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT.
GIVE IT A TRY YOU GOT NOTHING TO LOOSE(FAT) AND EVERYTHING TO GAIN(MUSCLE).

try N-large 2(Prolab). I mix 2 1/2 scoops with 3 cups of milk, 2 eggs, i cup of ice cream, 1 tbsp brewers yeast, 2 tbsp cold pressed flax seed oil. I get about 1250 cals per shake and N-large uses Malodextrin as its carb source and not some cheap sugar. Awesome supplement!

Nlarge is good, but my favorite is EAS Myoplex plus Mass. Mixed in 24oz of non-fat milk, with 2 tablespoons flax seed oil is 1000 calories, 52 protein, 100 carbs

Hi Guy's,
Ok I may be wrong on this but i thought you could only digest so much proteen etc each time you eat /drink
hence the need to have 6 to 7 meals a day so that you dont crap out what you cant digest.

I eat lots of red meat, chicken, tuna, eggs, and peanut butter. Supplement with EAS Simply Protein. Was not getting enough cals this way so added Twinlab SuperGainers Fuel at half the daily recommended dose. This gives me an extra 1500 cals and some more protein. I wouldn't recommend using it as a meal replacement though, it will only get you fat, but won't hurt to supplement for a couple extra cals.

Be careful guys! Maltodextrin has a very high glycemic value (150) and could make you fatter faster than ordinary sugars will so don't anyone fool themselves. I use Myoplex Mass which contains maltodextrin as its carb source, but I also take 1-2 tablespoons of flax oil with it. The flax oil (any oil is ok) reduces the glycemic index so that a large insulin spike does not occur and helps prevent fat from being stored. If having a shake right after a workout, forget the oil as you want that insulin spike at that particular time to maintain an anabolic state.
