Hey,
This has nothing to do with my question earlier in the day. I started feeling a little dizzy this morning, so out of curiosity I went to have my blood pressure checked. I went to the clinic on campus and the nurse got all concerned when it was 156/92. She said it was too high for someone in their early twenties. She wanted me to see the doctor, but I told her I would just call mine. I've only been taking 500mgs sus/week. Does anyone else notice a big jump in pressure when on. Mine is normally pretty normal. Does any of yours jump up and then go down post cycle? Please help, I don't want to have to quit in the middle of my cycle!
Thanks

YES THIS IS NORMAL,YOU ARE RETAINING EXTRA WATER FROM THE GEAR.DRINK A TON OF WATER THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND WATCH YOUR SALT INTAKE.AND YOU SHOULD BE FINE.THE USE OF AN ANTI-ESTROGEN WILL ALSO HELP YOU ELIMINATE SOME OF THAT WATER.IT WILL ALSO SUBSIDE WHEN YOU CYCLE OFF MOST OF THE TIME.

Heavy Cycles and High Blood Pressure

Categories of Hypertension by Blood Pressure

Systolic (mm/Hg) / Diastolic (mm/Hg)

140/85 Normal Blood pressure

140 160/85-90 High Blood Pressure (borderline Isolated Systolic Hypertension)

160 170/90-105 Mild Hypertension

160 170/105 - 115 Moderate Hypertension

>170/>115 Severe Hypertension

When doing a heavy cycle my blood pressure will always elevate to Mild Hypertension or Moderate Hypertension. Occasionally I will develop headaches, nose bleeds, and feel like death. I have been taking Catapres (clonidine) to control my blood pressure.

I would recommend that you go to your Family Practitioner if you are a victim Hypertension. . Just tell your doctor that you are under a lot of stress from either work or school and you are experiencing elevated levels in your blood pressure. The doctor will probably not have any lab work done and will put you on a low dose of Hypertension medication. You will feel much better and be able to enjoy life again.

I hope that this information will help you.

mine was high at like 155/85? I do not remember, I know the bottom was almost normal and the top was high. I went off my allegra D which has a decongestant and it was only 133/68 yesterday. It will go up during a cycle, but I would not panic, watch your salt and watch if you are taking certain allergy/cold tabs, they can do it too.
