Im thinking about doing a contest. How hard is it to get ready? Also, what motivates people to lift and do the lifestyle?

Congrats on considering competition.
It is VERY hard to prepare properly for a show... to do it right I mean. BUT, IT IS WORTH IT - just for the sense of accomplishement, bro!
Your training and rest must be great and the diet must be dialed in perfectly. Believe me: DIET IS 90% OF BODYBUILDING! I won't go on in length about preperation, other than to say, you MUST BE dedicated to the cause, or you will be disappointed.

Motivation for me is EASY: Just look in the mirror Bro, you gots to like what you see!

This is what I kill myself for:

Thanks for the tip. I think most people really don't have a goal.

Wow, you look great Mr Iowa!!!!!

I would say, however, that you should continue on the natural route, because you have built a super pysique and seem to have it all dialed in. Your effort has payed off well! If you do decide to convert, the competition should just as well stay home! LOL
