Need a little advise bro's, well you see I have this training partner who is a bitch who always complains and whines that he is tired and he can't lift anymore or my shoulder hurts, how do I get this MF to understand that bodybuilding is a way of living not a waste of living?

i had a good friend come with me once. hes a skinny guy and i think he took tae kwan do for a couple years in highschool or something (whoo hoo!). to make a long story short, this frickin guy was a damn expert on EVERYTHING. pissed me and my other friend off so bad, we threatened to beat his ass in the gym. the workout went much smoother after that.

sounds like you need to find a new training partner, or start schooling your partner as to what a partner is supposed to do...in my opinion, some people arent worth the wasted effort....I have had so mny training partners bomb out on me....I finally found a good one after 4 years of searching....

i know how you feel ...my last partner had all the intensity in the world until we got to the gym door , then , his hand hurt , his back was out , he had to walk his dog .... I knew he was a total pussy when he blew off chest because he had an appt. to get his fucking hair cut . Whats funny is he got all sauced up and started really slacking on his workouts , so now he looks like a mudball with stickarms ......Hee hee hee .....

when my partner cant go to the gym due to work
i hit the machines.
better than nothin, and safe.
don't wanna kill yerself on
a bench !
i also look for a guy startin a workout
same time as me and
ask if i can work in with him.
i got a couple of PART TIME partners this way.

First of all KRY... you MUST be refering to me:

1) A training PARTNER means that if you partners shoulder is about to pop out of its socket, that's a good time to give me a spot.

2) Maybe you should train with that fat lard Todd... mayber he'll blow you in between sets.

3) And before you start saying shit about me, dont forget you gave me a lot of $$$$ to get you next cycle.....

4) You're calling me the pussy, i'm not the one who's always worried about my girlfriend... keeping you pager up your ass while you work-out! And giving time limits to our workouts because you have to go pick-up you stupid ho of a girlfriend and spend some time with her.... and on top of that.. you're still not getting laid!!!

I don't have a partner and have not had one in years. I don't think it hurts me. I use the machine when squating and I always use DB's for benching because I get a deeper better muscle concentration. I go until failure and I just drop the DB's on the floor. I may miss those forced reps but I think overall I am fine alone....besides I get finished much quicker. I don't conversate and I can stay intense and concentrate the whole time.

I guess your right about alot of that DrC - It does alow me to concentrate more being alone. But at times it helps to have that friend their to keep the motivation up. That's what I miss - along with the forced reps - but usually you can ask someone there just to help you with those.

Just use him on the days that you are doing things like bench that requires a spotter. I have never been able to find someone that I like to lift with. Every "training partner" that I have had lacks the dedication and goals that I have. If your partner is skipping workouts, quiting too soon or trying to get you to quit before you need to then I say train by yourself. There is normally someone in the gym that can give you a spot. Don't limit yourself by the laziness of others. I'm not trying to get into you two guys argument. I'm just saying you have to do whatever it takes to reach your goals. Sometimes that means leaving others in your dust.
