![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hell I knew that it was bound to happen sooner or later. Here's how it went. I had 500 mg of omna and 200mg of deca ready and waiting to be shot into the old gluteus maximus. This time it was right cheek, so I swab it down with my little alcohol pad and stick it. Now I have to admit that sometimes I don't aspirate, stupid I know. But this time I did and man you should have seen the dark pool of blood shoot into that pin. Kinda scary. So then I pull it out to stick it somewhere else and bam all of a sudden blood starts squirting outta my ass. Not much, but enough to scare me. So here I am with 3 cc's ready to be shot, blood mixed in with it and blood allover my ass. Then I figured that I had to get the blood out of there, so I turn it upside down and squirt the blood onto a dirty sock! By this time I figure that it would be wise to change needles, so I do that and try again, still no luck. So finally I said f it and shot it into my left cheek. Now my damn ass is sore as hell. Oh well, pain is only weakness leaving the body, or something like that! Later. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If is squirted, then it was an artery. Wait for the bruise, it will be about the size of a quarter and look very nice.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is no flame, but reading that sounds hell of funny! I could see that happening in a movie, or better yet I can see Kramer doing something like that! ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ya know, thats right, bomber - don't think I have ever seen the final authoritative answer on hitting a vein. I am real vascular and can see the veins well enough to miss em, esp. in quads. But man, have you ever touched a nerve on the way in. No way I finish that one. I'm out and re-aiming. Happy, glad you decided to stay. [This message has been edited by ironmaster (edited July 26, 2000).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Basically any blood, or really red/purple blood. Usually when you aspirate you don't see any blood at all, just bubbles. I don't think you'd die, unless you inject A LOT and a lot of air. 1cc won't kill you but really mess you up. Sweating, shortness of breath, wheezing, headache, black outs, heart palpatations. If you live for more than 15 minutes, you're in the clear pretty much. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() P.F.-IF YOU HIT A VEIN,THERE WONT JUST BE A TINT,BLOOD WILL GUSH IN AND FILL UP ANY AREA THAT YOUVE PULLED BACK IN THE PLUNGER. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hit a vein about 4 to 5 times out of 10 whenever I inject. I mean going through a vein. If jou stick the needle just through the skin then you can push the needle in very gentle. When l do it like that with my 1/2 inch, 30 gauge, almost 1 out of 2 the needle get stuck. That's when l know it will be going through a vein. You have to push harder. Ending up in a vein for me about 1 out of 20. I managed to hit a vein in the bi's, didn't need to pull back, blood came in the syringe all by itself. The same day l hit the left forearm, pulled back and again blood. Shooting 4 times a day equals 28 times a week (not all that much if you compare it to the Ranger or Big Brother Val, who is the champ in sticking himself and pain). So give or take, once a week l end up in a vein. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Aspiration is important, you should get as much air bubbles as you can out of the syringe. But pulling back on the syringe is unnecessary. Look at the mess you created. All that could have been avoided. Next time, jab the pin in and squeeze the trigger. I repeat, you don't need to pull back on the plunger to see blood. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() how about when you try to pull back and it is hard as hell does that mean that you are in the muscle and not anywhere else, I always pull back I think it is stupid not to. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you pull back and it is hard to do then you are in muscle fibers or fat, depending where you stuck the pin. If you are in a vein or artery pulling back will be easier and easy to see the blood. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hit something a few weeks ago, no blood when I pulled back, but man when I pulled the pin out I bleed like a stuck hog...completely saturated 3 big paper towels and my shorts before I could get it to stop....kinda scary shit....... IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thor... You prob went thru the vein, and it opened up when you pulled the dart out. Did you end up with a big-ass bruise??? IP: Logged |
Jeff_rys Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 526) |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() No, you must pull back on the plunger. Not always blood comes in the syringe all by itself. And if you keep the syringe in an angle of 45 the airbubbles will mount to the top of the syringe and stay in the needle. The good point is you will not waste a drop since your needle will be empty. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I don't see how you people are hitting veins injecting into your ass. Do you know what the odds of that it? I have NEVER hit a vein when injecting in my ass. And I have never had more than a tiny bead of blood after I pull the pin out. Most times there is no blood at all. Nothing. And it would be impossible to inject 1cc of oil into a vein, you physically won't be able to push it in. Maybe you guys are screwing aroung with the needle too much, moving it aroung, not going straight in. Not using a fresh one after you draw the juice. I don't know, but it seems to me you are doing something wrong. D. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() HAD MINOR SURGERY ON LEFT LEG A FEW YEARS AGO, WHEN THE NURSE CAME IN FOR THE PRE-OP INJECTION, OF COURSE I WATCHED HER CLOSELY. SHE STUCK THAT THING IN WITH FORCE AND NO PULLING BACK ON THE PLUNGER. HURT LIKE A MOFO AND IT WAS A SMALLISH NEEDLE, ABOUT 22G. I WAS GIVEN SEVERAL INJECTIONS AFTER THAT FROM DIFFERENT NURSES *AND* MDS, NONE OF THEM EVER PULLED BACK ON THE PLUNGER. I HAVE NEVER PULLED BACK ON A PLUNGER SINCE, I BELIEVE IT IS USELESS. PUT IT IN LIKE A DART, LOOK FOR BLOOD, THEN SHOOT IF YOU DON'T SEE ANY. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Im with Mr. batty. I have never pulled back on the dart. If you do hit one, blood goes into the needle and forms a big drop at the top of the syringe. 200+ injections and not one prob. Not sure about allergy shots, but i have head to get them in the delts since i was a little kid. Not once did the allergist ever aspirate. Granted I know they weren't oil based. IP: Logged |
