WEEZ - your the man for remembering my foot, I'm hanging in there , tried to squat yesterday..hello, crashed and burned on first rep, not ready for squats yet..damn foot.

Swollen - Scale of 1 - 10 quality is a solid 9. Remember boys the film was shot in 1973, your talking about 27 year old footage, but never-the-less the footage looks better than the Blair Witch Project (joke)

Kry - Kry makes an interesting post, he says "go to video store and record that sucker" People find this film in a video store I dare you, anybody finds it anywhere Blockbuster, Suncoast, wherever..drop me an email I'll personally send you a free blank tape to make your copy..shoot I'll send you my VCR to make your copy. Bottom line movie out of print !!!

respond. Last year I was on vacation and came across a Flea Market in Florida which had
several copies, I bought them all. They are original film footage, however
they
did not come in the original hard plastic sleeves that you see typical video
store videos come in when you rent them. Never the less, it is the original
footage. I am selling the film for $30.00 (I paid $23 each) that includes shipping and
handling , and I use 2 day priority mail.

I couldn't find it at any video store near me either to make a copy of. I will say that Mike was very prompt in shipping and keeping in touch. I'd say worth the $30. Send the $$$ and get a tape....no headaches. I just wish getting gear was always this easy.

But watching it or dubbing it from Blockbuster or actually owning an actual official copy are 2 different things.

Its like having a painting or Arnold or having a xerox copy. One you collect, one you watch.

But hey enough already! Guys spend the $200 and fly down to adawgs neighborhood and rent it from his Blockbuster. Haha

I hope these are legit copies and not dubs you made in your back yard, you probably dealing with some very serious people here. And your undercutting me by $2 very impressive considering the PAL system you speak of will only come equipped on foreign imported VCR's. And we all bought our VCR's in Australia. However, my best friend works in Radio Shack and you can get the PAL adapter to use with your VCR/VHS for about $19.99.

so lets see ...your Pumping Iron = $28 plus the PAL adapter = $20 total = $48

Sounds like the better deal. And of course your reputation is well known, and your website is great and you do of course include a Bill of Sale invoice with all of your orders. right???

Most countries of the world use TV Standards that are incompatible with other
countries. For example, a video recording made in the Germany could not be played
back on a American standard VCR or shown on the American TV. There are three main
world standards and the rest are minor branches of these main systems. The systems
are NTSC, PAL, SECAM. The charts below give a description of each standard and the
technical variations within them.

PAL:
The PAL (Phase Alternating Line) standard was introduced in the early 1960's and
implemented in most European countries except for France. The PAL standard utilises a
wider channel bandwidth than NTSC which allows for better picture quality. PAL runs
on 625 lines/frame.

Sorry about the technical useless post, but I would like to keep my LOYAL CUSTOMERS and friends informed.

But here's a marketing Pitch , I have copies of the 1980 Mr. Olympia where Arnold makes his return from retirement..he looks like crap but somehow he manages to get a great placing.. But you do get to see Mike Mentzer and Boyer Coe in there prime.

You are the guy that sounds like the backyard dubber. "several copies"??? By that it sounds that you only got a few copies and used them to dub many copies. And no hard plastic sleeves! Souns like a very dodgy operation you have going there.

Mate you are an idiot! Don't you think that the fact that I admitted they were PAL videos shows that I am not trying to scam anybody? If I wanted to offload a stack of poor quality dubbed videos, much like you are doing, or to scam people I wouldn't be telling everybody "buy this video but it won't work on your VCR". The fact is that many VCR's that are sold today (in Australia at least) have both the PAL and the NTSC systems. I didn't see you warn everybody outside of the US that your videos wouldn't work on their VCR's. You do know that people of nationalties other than American read these boards too?

These are the facts you idiot! My brother found a shop selling stacks of videos no longer in production. These included Pumping Iron. They only had 10 copies and I snapped them all up because I have seen the demand on the boards. So yes I want to make some money by selling them. i am not in the business of selling videos.

You obviosly can't handle competition mate. I thought you were inviting competition when you said "I will not be undersold ask anyone on the Board!"

And you are the one that should be apologising. You started the kiddy shit by flaming everybody that said something that might take some business away from you.

In regards to your email apologising to me. Thats right everybody, he apologised to me! How about you do that on the board so everyone can see you are in the wrong instead of hiding behind email. If you do that then all is forgiven.

And despite the fact that I have a few copies of Pumping Iron to sell I agree with many of the posts above that state that it is possible to hire a copy of the video from your local Blockbuster. Here in Australia I have seen a few shops that have had a copy available for hire. The problem is that they are mostly old and poor in quality but it is better than nothing.
