Hey ladies and gents I was having my regular lunchtime meal (which to me isn't that much) and I decided just out of curiosity to pull up the Burger King website to find out how many calories I was consuming from this meal everyday. I was shocked check it out below.
I think this is going to play a big part in my upcoming bulking cycle if I can't maintain eating 5-6000 calories a day I'll just go to BurgerKing. No wonder I feel I get winded from walking. I think I'll hit this up 5-6 times a day for grand total of 13,000 calories a day and I'll be up there with Kovacs and Coleman in no timw LOL. For real though I thought this was good info fo those on a bulking cycle and couldn't get the required calories everyday.
How much do you eat??????? Go to www.burgerking.com then nutrition and then nutrition tables.
Double Whopper with cheese and Mayo: 1010 Calories

King Size fries: 590 Calories

Dutch apple Pie: 300 Calories

Large Drink around 350 Calories

A grand total of 2250 calories!!!!!

One thing to remember, though, is that most of it is CRAP calories. Very little high quality protein (their beef is just shit), high saturated fats, and sugars from the soft drink. Don't even get me going about the sodium and preservative content of that so-called "food"...

Sounds like a great plan if you feel like following that cycle up with 3 cutting cycles to get rid of your Burger King fat. It is possible to eat decently in fast food joints, but your list is definitely not close to decent. And it is also very possible to eat high amounts of "clean" calories without consuming a bunch of junk. Worry less about overall calories and more about getting your protein and carb calories.

If you must do Burger King do it this way...Eat two of those Double Whoppers, get a diet coke and skip the rest of that bullshit...Almost the same calories, but not near as many will be empty calories from sugar and grease.

You should wash it down with a twelve pack of budweiser, another excellent source of calories.

The object is to eat a "Clean" 4-6k cals. Granted you have to give in and eat junk every now and then. I can only eat so much Tuna and Chicken!!!! But I would stay away from the BK for the most part.

Personally, I NEVER like to be above 12% bodyfat, but two of the biggest bros I know that are training partners, will knock out a couple of cheeseburgers at a time every three hours or so. These guys are both under 5'10" and in the 240 and 270 range- They don't look fat, but they will admit that they did at one point in order to get that big.

I am with you , but you know what, if you want to get really big, you gotta sacrifice the bf a little in my opinion. You can always take it off

As much as I hate getting fat - It is very much easier to lose 10lbs of fat than gain 10lbs of muscle.

every now and then you need to eat this crap, personally i prefer wendys, there food quality is much better then bk or mcd's. and i definately agree with deca on this, it is a hell of alot easier to lose fat then to gain muscle, so i sacrafice the fat and enjoy myself every now and then.

Is it just me or does his calculation seem to be a little off!? That total of calories is 1240 NOT 2250!!!!
Anyways, when bulking, I try to hit the fast food joint at least 2-3 times a week just for the extra calories.

Hellraisr,

You need to pay more attention before you second guess people. When you are wrong it makes you look like an idiot.
Burger- 1010
Fries- 590
Pie- 300
Drink- 390
Total = 2250

I think that BK is shit food, my dog is smart enough not to eat that shit. Why not just eat a tub of butter to bulk up. Way more calories and it taste gooood. Stay away from that shit, just eat a lot of quality food with good protien and carbs.

On my last bulking cycle I ate burger everyday it worked pretty good, first meal of the day, whopper, fries, chicken tenders, and large coke. On a bulking cycle it puts the pounds on quick.
