My chest got very strong using the Hammer Strength machines. I prefer freeweights but it's a good change of pace. I do the circuit once a week. LAter, Green

I don't know why people are so obsessed with free weights. Don't get me wrong I love getting my hands around that olympic bar as much as the next guy but there are many machines (such as hammer strength) that provide exercises with ranges of motion that you simply cannot achieve with free weights. My advice to you is to use any resources available to proform the exercises which can give whatever muscle you are using the best maximum contraction.

P.S I love hammer strengths unilateral lat pull down machine. Hits my lats way better than the conventional machine.

I avoid Hammer Strength machines like the plague. They always mess with my shoulders. I don't like to do many exercise that have a very strict, controlled movement.

IF IT WORKS FOR YOU USE IT PERIOD. WE USE SOME HAMMER STRENGTH IN OUR WORKOUTS WITH GREAT RESULTS.
THE ONLY PEICE I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH IS THE SHOULDER PRESS DUE TO THE INJURIES I'VE HAD.
PUT MAX EFFORT INTO IT AND THE RESULTS WILL COME.

I'd use a Barbie Playhouse if it would make me grow.
