Hey bros, Just wondering what your experiences are with Creatine cycles. I know you're supposed to take creatine with some kind of carbs, but I'm wondering what y'all use. Cell-Tech seems like a scam for that price, but I'd be interested in hearing what you bros have gotten the best experiences with. Oh yeah, how long do you load for, too? IP: Logged |

The best way to take creatine is....to the supplements board hehe. Only joking try loading up on 5g 4 times a day for 1 week then a daily maintenance dose of 5-10g daily. This worked for meand I put on 8lbs in 4 weeks. IP: Logged |

Actually stick to around 10 grams a day, your body can only utilize around 5-10 grams effectively , the rest is waisted and puts unnecessary strain and usage on the kidneys that they could do without. Utilization of 20 grams wont do anymore for you than 5-10, also personally I have had great experience with effervescent creatine, for me it works well, for others it doesnt do shit. Good Luck. 20grams a day is way too much for a normal person. Unless you're a 250 lb. all muscle bro, you're going to be wasting a good deal of that. 10 grams at most works for most. I get my creatine monohydrate from GNC as well, just as I do for my protein, vitamins, meal replacements, etc.... all the generic food crap. IP: Logged |

I've tried it twice and each time I get very bloated and soft looking. I put on about 15 pounds of water. I guess I'm just more sensative to the bloat. I was doing 10mg twice a day. Noon and post workout. It does WONDERS for my strength and stamina during a set. Amazing stuff. I guess if your trying to bulk up you shouldn't really worry about the looking like a water baloon Using Twinlab Micronized Creatine powder. Best bang for the buck. Good stuff to. This will sound crazy, but, a couple of months ago i went to the doctor for a physical,(I get one free a year through wifes insurance)I had a blood test done, and to my surprise, when I got it back, all the items they check for were good except my creatine levels and my protein levels. Both were high. i told my doctor about being on the creatine supp and taking extra protein. To my amazement, he told me that the body does store these two items. Either he is wack, or your body doesn't crap all the protein out nor does your system get rid of the extra creatine. To the guys who says that your body can only use 5-10 grams of creatine effectively and the rest is wasted, how do you know? Does it matter how much muscle mass you carry or does that amount apply equally to someone who is 180 lbs. and someone who is 280 lbs.? IP: Logged |

Take it with carbs...Do not mix it with grapefruit juice...just grape juice or kool aid will work...grapefruit acids will break down creatine mono. Take it in the morning and at least 10 grams after a workout...Cell tech and every other "super" creatine on the market is a sham..... However most people that are trying creatine to put on size, usually have'nt perfected their diet yet. Work on your diet that is 10 times more important than any supplement besides AS. There are so many problems that creatine will not help unless your diet is flawless IP: Logged |

Mix 5 grams creatine to 8 oz water with 6-8 teaspoons of sugar. An alternative to taking with juice.....A natural insulin spike...very effective also!!! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Its just common knowledge. 90%+ of the creatine in your body is stored in your muscles. Hence, if you have more muscles you can store more creatine. For a few hours or days after taking creatine you'll have plenty floating around in your blood, but if you're already saturated, it gets filtered through your kidneys and right out the wanger. I usually take mine 30 minutes before working out, so while Im using off creatine in my muscles it quickly gets replaced. As long as you get some in your body you are good, just take it like you do your multivitamins, etc. IP: Logged |

I realize that this discussion belongs on the supp board but, I have a quick question. I am on my last week of my cycle. D-bol, Eq. Winny at the end. I am only on winny now. I have been taking clomid all the way through. I started back on the creatine today. I figured I would load and by the time I was done loading, I should be done with the winny. My question is I had a container of Phosphagen HP. I was at work and put two scoops into a mug and added hot water. You know what?? The creatine completely melted into that mixture!!! No matter what I used to mix it with, I always had that granular feel. With the hot water it all dissloved. Now did the creatine still work or does the hot water kill the efficiency of the creatine. At night I mix 10 grams of Phosphagen with an Ultra Fuel. It taste like sand. Has anyone else tried mixing with hot water???? IP: Logged |
