Does anyone out there know how much oral insulin to take? I need help with doses and times of day to take. I cannot find any Humulin-r right now, and my buddy(who is diabetic)is only prescribed the oral.

There is no oral insulin it is glucophage or something like that! It doesn't work the same look it up. There is a profile on the anabolex board. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the help. The site told me what I needed to know, but you said there is no oral form of insulin. The Glucophage is used to control adult onset diabetes. Doesn't this make the Glucophage, in fact, insulin. I might be wrong, but at least I found out the effective dose is 2x850mg pills a day. thanks. IP: Logged |

Hey Triton, have you tried going to a pharmacy and just asking for some Humulin R? Alot of places you dont need a Rx for insulin. Just walk in and ask for a Humulin R insulin preparation, thats what I did. IP: Logged |

Yeh I have tried to go into the local pharmacy, but the place I live in Florida is strict on anything. I have to send my girlfriend or one of my friends who doesn't work out to get needles. IP: Logged |
